Prayers.

JOHN Christofer de Mayherne did this Day take the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance, at the Clerk's Table, in order to his Naturalization.

Rothe's, &c. Nat.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for naturalizing Sir John Rothe, Anna Ferrers, and others, is committed, be revived; to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock: And it is recommended to Mr. Rigby to take care of the Bill.

Ordered, That the Name of Mr. Robert Dallison be inserted into the Bill for Naturalizing.

Ordered, That the Name of Mr. William Hanmer be inserted into the Bill for Naturalizing.

Deerham's Estate.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for the Continuance and Enjoyment of an Improvement made by Thomas Deerham Esquire in West Deerham, and Roxam in the County of Norfolke, was committed, be revived; and do meet on Monday the 16th of December instant, in the Place formerly appointed.

Saule's Nat.

Ordered, That the Names of William and Nicholas Saule, Sons of Richard Saule, be inserted into the Bill for Naturalizing.

Somersett Dukedom.

Sir Edmond Peirse reported from the Committee to whom the Bill for confirming an Act for restoring the Marquis of Hertford to the Dukedom of Somersett was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table.

The First Amendment, being in the Second Line of the Bill, Between the Word "Lords," and the Word "and," insert these Words, "Spiritual and Temporal;"

The same was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

The Second Amendment, being in the Second Line of the Bill, Between the Word "and," and the Word "Commons," insert the Word "the;"

The same was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

The Third Amendment, being in the Third Line of the Bill, Between the Word "Act," and the Word "made," expunge these Words, "hereinafter mentioned;"

The same was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

The Fourth Amendment, being in the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Lines of the Bill, Between the Word "April," and the Word "intituled," expunge these Words, "and there continued until the Nine-and-twentieth Day of December then next following, and then dissolved, that is to say, One Act;"

The same was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

The Fifth Amendment, being in the Tenth Line of the Bill, Between the Word "hereby," and the Word "are," insert these Words, "is and;"

The same was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

The Sixth Amendment, being in the Two last Lines of the Bill, expunge these words, "and as if the same had been made, declared, and enacted, by Authority of this present Parliament;"

The same was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

Resolved, That the further Debate of this Bill be adjourned till To-morrow Morning: At which Time a true copy of the Original Bill, now desired to be confirmed, being examined therewith by the Clerk of this House, or his Assistant, is to be brought in; and read.

A Bill for enabling Sir Robert Dallison to sell Lands to pay his Debts, and provide for his younger Children, was this Day read the First time.

Attempts against publick Peace.

Ordered, That the Members of this House, who are of his Majesty's Privy Council, Mr. Cofferer, and Sir Roger Bradshaigh, do humbly represent unto his Sacred Majesty, That this House hath received credible Informations, from several Parts of the Kingdom, of divers Designs and Attempts to disturb the publick Peace, and to beseech his Majesty to be pleased to take care for the Prevention and Suppression thereof, and for the Securing the Peace of the Kingdom, in such Manner as to his Majesty, in his Princely Wisdom shall seem meet.

Confirming Ministers.

Resolved, That the Debate of the Ministers Bill be adjourned, and resumed again into Debate on Thursday Morning, the first publick Business.
