Discharging Loyalists of Interest.

A BILL for discharging the loyal Party of all Interest exceeding Three Pounds per Centum was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the same be committed to Mr. Fane, Mr. Churchill, Sir Jo. Brampston, Mr. Bennet, Sir Geo. Sandis, Sir Adrian Scroope, Sir Hen. Capell, Mr. Attorney of the Duchy, Sir Geo. Rannes Manor, &c.

The Question being put, That the Two ingrossed Bills for the Tenants of Rannes and Clithero in Lancashire should be now read the Third time;

It passed in the Negative: And

Ordered, That the said Bills be read the Third Monday on the next Meeting of the Parliament after this Recess.

Hull Churches.

Another ingrossed Bill for dividing Trinity Church in Kingston upon Hull from Hasle, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the said Bill do pass.

Resolved, That the Title of the said Bill shall be, An Act dividing Trinity Church in Kingston upon Hull from Hasle.

And Colonel Gilby is to carry up the same to the Lords.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Matthew Appleyard, one of the Members of this House, have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Ordered, That Sir John Strangwayes, one of the Members of this House, have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill for Highways was committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon in the Place formerly appointed.

Seudamore's Losses at Play.

A Bill for making void of divers Judgments and Conveyances obtained by George Colt and Thomas Colt, and their Trustees, for Monies won at Play, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill be committed to Lord Cornbury, Mr. Fane, Sir Bayn. Throgmorton, Sir Robert Brooke, Sir Hump. Bennett, Mr. Pryn, Sir Robert Holt, Mr. Clifford, Mr. Moreton, Mr. Sandis, Lord Castleton, Sir Geo. Sandis, Mr. Birch, Colonel Kyrkby, Serjeant Charleton, Mr. Tompkins, Sir Tho. Nottingham Election.

Serjeant Charleton reports from the Committee of Elections, touching the Election for Nottinghamshire, That Sir Jervas Clifton and Mr. Eyres were duly elected Knights for the County of Nottingham, and ought to sit.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Committee, that Sir Jervas Clifton and Mr. Eyre . . . duly elected for the County of Nottingham, and ought to sit.

Confirming publick Acts.

Ordered, That the Report of the Committee for publick Bills, touching the Bill for Ministers, be heard To-morrow.

Publick Revenue.

And then the House resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to resume the Debate of the Increase of his Majesty's Revenue.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Milward took the Chair of the Committee: After which,

Mr. Speaker again took the Chair: And

Mr. Milward made Report to the House, That the Committee having proceeded in the Matter of the Increase of his Majesty's Revenue; and that it being put to the Question, That an Imposition should be laid upon Salt, towards the Increase of his Majesty's Revenue; it passed in the Negative: After which, it was resolved, upon the Question, That Paper and Parchment be first taken into Consideration towards the Increase of his Majesty's Revenue: And that it was the Desire of the Committee, That the House might again resolve into a Committee To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock, to resume the further Debate of the Increase of his Majesty's Revenue.

Whereupon it is Ordered, That this House do resolve itself into a Committee To-morrow, at Nine of the Clock, to resume the said Debate.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock.
