Tanners Petition.

Ordered, That the Petition of the Tanners of Essex and Middlesex, which was this Day read, be referred to the Grand Committee for Trade, to whom the Bill for the better Tanning and Dressing of Leather is committed; who are to hear the Petitioners therein.

A Bill for appointing a Register to the Brokers, being brought in this Day;

Stocking Knitters.

A Petition of the Mayor, Justices, Sheriff, and Aldermen of Norwich, touching the knitting of Stockings, being this Day read;

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Grand Committee of Trade, to take the same into Consideration; and to hear the Petitioners; and to direct a Bill to be prepared and brought in, if they find Cause.

Plextoll Parish.

A Bill for making the Chapel of Plextoll, heretofore annexed to the Parish of Wrotham in the County of Kent, a distinct Parish of itself, from Wrotham;

Stanstead Parish.

And another Bill for constituting the Parish of Stanstead, formerly annexed to the said Parish of Wrothom, a distinct Parish and Rectory, from Wrotham; were both this Day read the Second time.

A Bill for restoring Rectories and Advowsons to his Majesty's loyal Subjects, was this Day read the First time.

Discharging Loyalists of Interest.

A Bill for moderating Interest to Three Pounds per Cent. for such Persons as have served the late King's Majesty, was this Day read the First time.

Shooter's Estate.

A Bill enabling Latham and Hopton Shooter to sell Lands, was this Day read the First time.

Importing Mader.

A Bill for importing of Mader, pure and unmixed, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, The same be read again, the Second time, on Monday next.

Repairs of Churches.

Mr. Mountague reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for enabling Churchwardens, &c. was referred, several Amendments, with Three Provisoes, to be added to the Bill: Which Amendments and Provisoes being twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed unto;

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the Amendments and Provisoes agreed to, be ingrossed.

Sabran's Nat.

Lord Bruce reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for naturalizing Renee de Sabran, was committed, That the Committee saw no Cause to recede from the Amendments formerly made, or to make any other Amendments to the Bill; but that Sir Lancelot Lake, a Member of this House, being the Person concerned, had, according to the usual Privilege granted to Members in like Cases, desired to be heard by Counsel at the Bar of this House.

Ordered, That Sir Lancelot Lake be heard by his Counsel, against the Bill for naturalizing Penee de Sabran, at the Bar of this House, on Tuesday next.

Pains and Penalties against Regicides.

A Bill declaring the Pains, Penalties, and Forfeitures, to be imposed upon the Estates and Persons of certain notorious Offenders excepted out of the Act of free and general Pardon, Indemnity, and Oblivion, was this Day read the First and Second time.

Executing Regicides.

Ordered, That Mr. Solicitor General do bring in a Bill, To-morrow Morning, for Execution of the Persons, Prisoners in the Tower, condemned for the horrid Murder of his late Sacred Majesty King Charles the First.

Disbanding the Army, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee for disbanding the Army and Navy, do make Report to this House, on Saturday Morning next.

Charge against Haslerigg.

Ordered, That his Majesty's Attorney General be desired to prepare and bring in the Evidence, against Sir Arthur Haslerigg deceased, with what convenient Speed he can.

Committee of Privileges.

Ordered, That Sir Clement Throgmorton and Doctor Birkenhead be added to the Committee of Privileges and Elections.

Ordered, That Sir William Killegrewe's Bill be read To-morrow.
