Prayers.

Ly. Noell's Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for Supply of Part of the Jointure of the Lady Eliz. Noell, was read the Third Time.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title be agreed to.

Coinage.

The Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill for Encouragement of Coinage, were twice read; and, except the Amendment to the Thirty-fifth Line of the Fourth Skin, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

That Amendment, being to add a Clause, sent from the Lords; and being debated;

Ordered, That it be referred to Sir Geo. Downing, Sir Robert Howard, Sir Phill. Warwick, Colonel Birch, Sir Robert Atkins to withdraw, and bring in a Clause, instead of That sent from the Lords, on the Debates of the House.

A Proviso, sent from the Lords, on the Behalf of the Lady Villers, was twice read.

Ordered, That these Words, "during her said Term, in the said Letters Patents," be omitted in the Proviso.

Resolved, &c. That the Proviso, with this Amendment, be agreed to.

Ly. Hollis' Nat.

Ordered, That Mr. Pepis, Mr. Daniell, Mr. Jaye, Sir Thom. Wendy, Sir Hen. Cæsar, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Lanc. Lake, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir John Moreton, be added to the Committee to which the Bill for Naturalization of the Lord Hollis his Lady was committed.

Canary Patent.

Ordered, That the Persons appointed to draw up Reasons for the Conference on the Message from the Lords, touching the Patent of the Canary Company be appointed to manage the Conference.

And then the House adjourned till Three of the Clock in the Afternoon.

Coinage.

SIR George Downing reports from the Committee appointed to bring in Amendments to the Clause, sent from the Lords, by way of Amendment to the Bill for Encouraging of Coinage, some Amendments agreed to be added to That sent from the Lords: Which, being twice read, were, upon the Question, agreed to.

Mr. Crouch reports from the Committee to which the Bill for naturalizing the Lord Hollis' Lady was committed, That the Committee had perused the Bill; and saw no Cause to make any Alteration therein.

Impeachment of Ld. Mordant.

Mr. Pryn reports from the Committee appointed to draw up an Impeachment against the Lord Mordant, That they find the House had not given any Opinion in the First Part of the Report made Yesterday, from the Committee of Grievances, concerning the Lord Mordant; being as followeth; viz.

That the Committee find it proved, That, upon an Order from his Majesty, to the Lord Mordant, to clear Lodgings belonging to the Chancellor of the Garter in the Castle of Windsor, Mr. Tayleur was turned out of certain Lodgings in that Castle, in March 1660, by Soldiers of that Garison.

Resolved, &c. That the House do agree with the Committee, That they find it proved, that, upon an Order from his Majesty to the Lord Mordant, to clear Lodgings belonging to the Chancellor of the Garter in the Castle of Windsor, Mr. Tayleur was turned out of certain Lodgings in that Castle, in March 1660, by Soldiers of that Garison.

Supply Bill.

Resolved, &c. That the Committee of the whole House do proceed to fill up the Blanks for raising the whole Thirteen hundred thousand Pounds, Remainder of his Majesty's Supply, in the Bill of Assessment, according to the Method of the former Bill: And that the House will To-morrow Morning at Nine of the Clock, resolve into a Committee for that Purpose.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
