Parliament meets.

HIS Majesty having, on the One-and-thirtieth Day of October last, prorogued the Parliament then held at Oxford, to be held at Westminster, this present Twentieth Day of February; and having, by his Proclamation since, declared his Pleasure for the further Prorogation to the Three-and-twentieth Day of April 1666, to be again held at Westminster; and having also granted a Commission to certain of the Lords, to declare his Pleasure for the proroguing the Parliament to the said Threeand-twentieth Day of April 1666;

And the Lords, commissionated by his Majesty, with other Lords, being met in the House of Peers; and Mr. Speaker, with divers Members, above the Number of Sixty, being met in this House;

Writs to be issued.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for electing a new Burgess to serve for the Borough of Great Marlow in the County of Bucks, in the room of William Burlace Esquire, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for electing a Citizen to serve for the City of Peterborough in the County of Northampton, in the room of Charles Lord Le Despencer.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ for electing a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Minehead in the County of Sommersett, to serve in the room of Francis Lutterell Esquire, deceased.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ for electing a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Southwarke in the County of Surrey, in the room of George Moore Esquire, deceased.

Parliament further prorogued.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir John Eyton, Usher of the Black Rod;

Mr. Speaker,

The Commissioners, authorized by his Majesty in the House of Lords, desire the Presence of this House there.

And Mr. Speaker, with the House, accordingly went up to attend the Lords, there met; and his Majesty's Commission was read; and the Parliament prorogued to the Three-and-twentieth of April 1666.
