Prayers.

Attainder of Dolman, &c.

MR. Pryn reports from the Committee to which the Bill for attainting Thomas Dolman, and others of High Treason, if they do not come in, and render themselves by a Day, was committed, some Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made, and a Clause to be added, to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

The Amendments were twice read; and, with some Alterations made at the Table, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Clause being twice read, and debated;

Ordered, That Sir George Downing, Mr. Coleman, Sir Francis Goodrick, and Mr. Solicitor General, Sir Job Charleton, Sir Tho. Littleton, do withdraw, and bring in a Proviso, upon the Debates of the House.

Mr. Solicitor General reports, That the Committee had agreed a new Clause to be added to the Bill: Which he read; and after, delivered the same in to the Clerk: Which Clause was twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments and Clauses agreed to, be ingrossed.

Harwich Election.

Ordered, That the Claim of Sir William Turnor Doctor of Laws, touching the Election for the Town of Harwich, be continued: And that the Matter be adjourned, and taken into Consideration by the Committee of Elections, the next Session.

And then the House adjourned till Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.

AN ingrossed Bill for attainting Thomas Dolman, Joseph Bampfeild, and Thomas Scott, of High Treason, if they do not render themselves by a Day, was read.

And some Amendments being, upon the Question, agreed, and made at the Table;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for attainting Thomas Dolman, Joseph Bampfeild, and Thomas Scot, of High Treason, if they do not render themselves by a Day.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Mondeford Brampston and * * ;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, That they have agreed to the Bill for granting One Month's Assessment to his Majesty, without any Alteration: And have also returned you Two Bills; one intituled, An Act for restraining Nonconformists from inhabiting in Corporations; and the other intituled, An additional Act for making further Provision for such as be infected with the Plague; with some Amendments and Additions: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The Amendments to the Bill for restraining Nonconformists from inhabiting in Corporations were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be returned to the Lords.

Preventing the Plague.

The Amendments and Additions, sent from the Lords, to the additional Bill concerning the Plague, were twice read; and some of them, upon the Question, agreed, and others rejected.

Ordered, That a Conference be desired with the Lords, upon the Bill and Amendments for making further Provisons for such as are infected with the Plague.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
