Supply.
Sir Robert Atkins reports from the Committee of the whole House, That the Committee had agreed several Votes, in relation to the Raising of the Five-and-twenty hundred thousand Pounds Supply for his Majesty: Which he opened in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.
And the Votes being read;
Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed, to extract and bring in a Medium out of the Four hundred thousand Pounds Royal Subsidy, the Ship Rate in 1639, and the Seventy thousand Pounds Tax per mensem, for the setting the Proportions upon the several Counties, for raising the Twenty-five hundred thousand Pounds Supply for his Majesty.
And that it be referred to Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Job Charleton, Mr. Pryn, Sir Edm. Pooley, Colonel Birch, Mr. Vaughan, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir Tho. Clifford, Sir Tho. Meres, Sir Fra. Goodrick, Sir Anth. Irby, Mr. Street, Mr. Jones, Sir John Holland, Mr. Milward, Mr. Clarke, Sir John Talbott, Sir Phillip Warwick, Mr. Seymour, Sir John Knight, Sir Wm. Lowther, Mr. Waller, Lord Herbert, Mr. Boscawen, Colonel Robinson, Sir Walter St. John, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. Garraway, Sir Rich. Lincolne Writ.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for the Election of a Knight of the Shire for the County of Lincolne, in the room of Sir Charles Hussey, deceased.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
