Prayers.

Privilege.

ORDERED, That it be referred to the Committee of Privilege, to examine the Matter of Breach of Privilege, complained of, to be committed by Mr. John Elwayes, and Sir Peter Killigrew, in affronting and assaulting Sir Richard Everard, a Member of this House: And that the Committee do sit this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, for Examination of this Matter: And that the said Mr. Elwayes and Sir Peter Killigrew do, upon Notice hereof, attend the Committee.

Salt Marshes.

Ordered, That the Bill for settling Marshes and Marsh Grounds, lying near the Sea, be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Hungerford's Estate.

A Bill for enabling Sir Edward Hungerford to sell certain Lands in the County of Devon, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Saturday Morning next.

Davye's Estate.

A Bill for settling certain Messuages and Lands upon Dame Susan Davye, and her Heirs, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Saturday next.

Leigh's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill for enabling Francis Leigh Esquire to sell Lands, to pay his Debts, be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Cornwall Rivers.

Ordered, That the Bill for making Rivers navigable in the County of Cornwall, be read To-morrow Morning.

Bedford, &c. Roads.

Ordered, That the Bill for repairing and maintaining the Highways, in the Counties of Bedford, Bucks, Northampton, and Warwick, be read To-morrow Morning.

Nat. Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill for Naturalization be read To-morrow Morning.

Ways and Means.

And then the House resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Manner of raising the Five-and-twenty hundred thousand Pounds Supply for his Majesty.

Sir Robert Atkyns reports from the Committee, That the Committee was of Opinion, That the House be moved to name a Committee, to take into Consideration the Rates of the four hundred thousand Pounds Subsidy, the several Ship-Rates, That of the Twelve hundred and Sixty thousand Pounds, and That of the Four last Subsidies, and what other Rates they think fit; and report them to the House, with the Proportions of them, upon the several Counties.

Resolved, &c. That the House doth agree with the Committee: And that it be referred to a Committee, to take into Consideration the Rates of the Four hundred thousand Pounds subsidy, the several Ship-Rates, That of the Twelve hundred and Sixty thousand Pounds, and That of the four last Subsidies; and what other Rates they think fit; and report them to the House, with the Proportions of them upon the several Counties: Viz. Lowther, Mr. Jones, Colonel Sandys, Mr. Boscawen, Mr. Clerke, Mr. William Sandys; or any Five of them: And they are to meet this Afternoon, at Four of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.
