Leave of Absence.

ORDERED, That Sir John Shaw have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Preserving Woods, &c.

Sir Charles Harbord reports from the Committee to which the Bill for the Punishment of unlawful Cutters and Carriers away of Wood and Underwood was committed, several Amendments to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which Amendments were read the First time: And the Five first Amendments, being read the Second time, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Sixth Amendment, being to leave out these Words, "then shall suspect," in the Seventh Line of the Fourth Folio, was read the Second time.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee in this Amendment;

It passed in the Negative.

The rest of the Amendments, unto the Amendment to the Eighth Line of the Eighth Folio, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Amendment to the Eighth Line of the Eighth Folio being read the Second time; and agreed to be amended; and, being accordingly amended at the Table; it was, upon the Question, agreed to.

The last Amendment was read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.
