Leave of Absence.

THIS House being informed, that Sir William Strod had necessary Occasion to go into the Country;

Ordered, That the said Sir William Strod have the Leave of this House to go into the Country.

Throckmorton's, &c. Nat.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for the Naturalizing of Sir William Throckmorton Knight, and Dame Elizabeth his Wife, with William Throckmorton, Thomas Throckmorton, Thomas Throckmorton, Margaret Elizabeth Throckmorton, and Dorothy Lucy Throckmorton, Children of the said Sir William, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That the same be read again, the Second time, on this Day Sevennight.

Wells Key.

A Bill for the repairing and better preserving the Key of the Port of Wells, in the County of Norfolk, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That the same be read again, the Second time, on this Day Sevennight.

Chambers, &c. Estate.

A Bill to enable Henry Chambers, Executor of John Chambers, William Wharton, (who married the Executrix of William Barret) John Clay, Executor of Hercules Clay, to raise and levy the Sum of Two thousand Six hundred and Ninety Pounds, and Damages, out of the Manors, Lands, Tenements, Hereditaments, and Possessions, of John Hutchinson Esquire, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the same be read again, the Second time, this Day Sevennight.

Grant to the King.

A Bill for a free and voluntary Present to his Majesty, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the same be committed to a Committee of the whole House: Who are to take the same into Consideration on Monday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock: At which time Mr. Speaker is to leave the Chair.

Militia.

And then this House resolved into a Grand Committee of the whole House, to proceed in Debate of the Bill for ordering the Forces in the several Counties of this Kingdom.

And Mr. Speaker left the Chair: And

Sir Heneage Finch was called to the Chair.

After which, Mr. Speaker again took the Chair:

And Sir Heneage Finch made Report, that the Committee of the whole House had made a further Progress upon the said Bill.

Ordered, That this House should resolve into a Grand Committee of the whole House, at their next Sitting, on Monday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, and then resume the further Debate of the said Bill.

Lords desire a Conference.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Walter Littleton, Sir * Wolrich, Two of the Masters of Chancery;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords desire a present Conference with the House of Commons in the Painted Chamber, upon the Message sent up by the House of Commons this Morning: And that, at the same time, their Lordships will be ready to enter into a free Conference with them upon the Matter of the last free Conference.

And the said Messengers being withdrawn;

This House agreeing to the said Conference, and free Conference;

They were called in again; and Mr. Speaker acquainted them, this House had agreed thereunto.

Whereupon those formerly appointed to manage the said free Conference, with divers other Members of this House, repaired to the Painted Chamber to attend the same.

And this House adjourned till Monday Morning, at Eight of the Clock.
