Prayers.
Separation of married Persons.
THE Question being propounded, That the Report of Amendments to the Bill for preventing the voluntary Separation, and living apart, of married Persons, on slight Occasions, be now received;
The House was divided:

Resolved, That the Report of the Amendments to the Bill for preventing the voluntary Separation, and living apart, of married Persons, on slight Occasions, be now received.
Mr. Ferrers reports Amendments to the Bill for preventing voluntary Separation of married Persons, and several Provisoes: Which he first read in his Place; and were, after, read the First and Second time by the Clerk.
Resolved, That this Bill be re-committed, upon the present Debate, to the former Committee: And that Mr. Hollis, Mr. Stroade, Mr. Bascawen, and all the Gentlemen of this House of the Long Robe, be added to the said Committee.
Endowing Vicarages:
Resolved, That the ingrossed Bill for endowing of Vicarages, be now read.
The ingrossed Bill for erecting and endowing of Vicarages, out of appropriate Rectories, was this Day read the Third time.
A Proviso was tendered to this Bill; That this Act, nor any thing therein contained, shall extend to his Majesty's Chapel of Windsor:
And the Question being put, That this Proviso be received;
It passed with the Negative.
Another Proviso was tendered to this Bill; That this Act, nor any thing therein contained, shall extend to any of the Rectories impropriate, which are Parcel of the Possessions or belonging to the Bishopricks of Ely and Lincolne, or to either of them; any thing herein before to the contrary notwithstanding:
And the Question being put, That this Proviso be received;
It passed with the Negative.
And the said Bill, being put to the Question, passed:
Resolved, That this be the Title of the Bill, An Act for Erecting and Augmentation of Vicarages perpetual out of appropriate Rectories.
Lords reminded of Bills.
Ordered, That this Bill be sent to the Lords: And that Mr. Bunkley do carry it to the Lords: And that he put the Lords in mind of the Bills formerly sent from this House, for Confirmation of Marriages; for Confirmation of College and Hospital Leases; and, concerning the Maintenance of the Minister of Reyston.
Wards and Liveries.
Ordered, That the further Amendments to the Bill touching the Court of Wards, be reported To-morrow Morning.
Post Office.
Ordered, That the Amendments to the Bill for Postage of Letters, be reported To-morrow Morning, next after the Report of the Bill touching the Court of Wards.
