Prayers.

Milward's Estate.

A BILL for enabling the Sale of some of the Lands of Wm. Milward Esquire, for Payment of his Debts, was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time on Wednesday next.

Duke of Somerset's Lands.

An Act for repealing a Clause in a private Act, made in the Fifth Year of King Edward the Sixth, intituled, An Act touching the Limitation of the Duke of Somersett's Lands, was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be now read the Second time:

And the said Bill was now read the Second time accordingly; and, upon the Question, committed to Serjeant Hales, Sir Anthony Irby, Mr. Pryn, Mr. Annesley, Sir Henage Finch, Sir John Lowther, Lord Herbert, Mr. Thomas, Sir Lancelot Lake, Sir Solomon Swale, Sir Francis Gerrard, Mr. Swinfin, Mr. Crew, Lord Spencer, Mr. Goodrich, Mr. Buller, Sir Bainham Throckmorton, Mr. Stephens, Mr. Sprey, Sir Tho. Dacres, Mr. Lewis, Col. Jones, Mr. Elliston, Mr. Minors, Sir John Holland, Mr. Seymour, Col. Gerrard, Mr. Allen, Mr. Gape, Sir Edward Turner, Col. Rosseter, Mr. Mallet, Mr. Holles, Mr. Bampfeild, Mr. Knightley, Col. King, Sir Tho. Widdrington, Mr. Titus, Sir Wm. Lewis, Mr. Mountague: And they are to meet To-morrow, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Wards and Liveries.

Ordered, That the Report, touching the Officers of the Court of Wards, be made on Monday Morning next.

Apportioning Assessment.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the apportioning of the One hundred thousand Pounds per Ann. on the Counties is referred, do bring in their Report on Monday next.

Deane Forest.

A Bill for Preservation of the Timber of the Forest of Deane, and to avoid Letters Patents of Deforestation of the said Forest, dated the One-and-twentieth of March 15 Caroli Regis, was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time on Monday Morning next.

Ecclesiastical Leases.

Ordered, That Mr. Allen do bring in the Bill for restraining Ecclesiastical Persons from granting of Leases; and the Bill for a competent Maintenance to be settled upon Ministers out of Appropriations of Ecclesiastical Persons: And that the Letters, and Message, from the King's Majesty, and the Order, and other Papers, concerning the same, be forthwith delivered to Mr. Allen.

Excise.

According to former Order, the House was this Day resolved into a Grand Committee upon the Bill of Excise.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Col. Birch reports from the Grand Committee, upon the Bill for Excise, that That Committee desire the Leave of this House to sit To-morrow, at Ten of Clock.

Resolved, That the House be resolved into a Grand Committee, upon this Business, To-morrow Morning, at Ten of Clock.

Ecclesiastical Leases.

Ordered, That Serjeant Hales, and Mr. Nathaniel Bacon, do bring in the Bills (formerly referred to Mr. Allen to bring in) for restraining of Leases by Ecclesiastical Persons; and for settling competent Maintenance for Ministers out of appropriate Rectories.
