Nayler's Blasphemies.

ORDERED, That Doctor Clergis be added to the Committee for James Nayler's Business.

Popish Recusants.

Ordered, That Mr. Bacon and Mr. Stone be added to the Committee for Recusants.

Bill of Indemnity.

Ordered, That Mr. Sheild be added to the Committee for Indemnity.

Committee for Trade.

Ordered, That all the Merchants of the House, and all the Members that serve for the Port-Towns, be added to the Committee for Trade.

Pardon of Deane, &c.

An Act for the Pardon, and Restitution in Blood, of John Deane Gentleman, William Wake, Christofer Haveland, Edmond Mack, Henry Lawrence, John Fryor, and Abraham Wilson, was this Day read the Third time; and, upon the Question, passed.

Resolved, That this Bill be presented to his Highness the Lord Protector, for his Consent.

Laying Actions.

An Act for Laying and Trials of Actions in their proper Counties; and Restraining the Travelling of Jurors out of their proper Counties for Trial of Actions; was this Day read the First time: And, upon the Question, ordered, That this Bill shall be read the Second time.

Ways and Means.

The House, according to former Order, was resolved into a Grand Committee of the whole House, upon the Business of the Charge of carrying on the Spanish War; and the Ways and Means to raise Monies for that Purpose.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Master of the Rolls took the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Master of the Rolls reports, from the said Grand Committee, That they offer it, as their Opinion, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider how the Customs and Excise, or either of them, may be so improved, by Farming, or otherwise, as that Money may be thereby raised for carrying on the Charge of the Spanish War this next Year: And that this Committee have Power to confer with such Persons as they shall think fit; and speedily to present any Propositions for that Purpose; together with their Opinions therein: And that the Committee do meet thereupon this Afternoon; and report it speedily to the House: That the said Committee desire Leave to sit again on Friday Morning next, upon this Business.

Resolved, That this House be resolved into a Grand Committee, on Friday Morning next, upon this Business.
