RESOLVED, That Alexander Vassye be added to the Bill for Naturalization.

Ordered, That, in the Order made Yesterday, for the Serjeant at Arms to make Provision for the Committees of Parliament, the Words " and other Necessaries" be added.

Swearing.

Resolved, That the Consideration of the Laws touching profane Swearing, and the Defects therein, be referred to the Committee for Alehouses and Drunkenness.

Resolved, That Mr. Butler be added to that Committee.

Security of Protector's Person.

Colonel Goffe reports from the Committee, Amendments to the Bill for the Security of his Highness the Lord Protector his Person, and Continuance of the Nation in Peace and Safety; together with the Names of the Commissioners, to be inserted in the respective Commissions: Which were twice read.

He also reports the Names of three other Persons, to be added to the Commissioners for England: viz. Sir Thomas Honywood, Wm. Purefoy Esquire, * Heley, of Salisbury, Esquire.

The Question being put, That the Words, "directly or indirectly," in the Amendments, do stand;

It passed in the Affirmative.

And the Amendments, being put to the Question, were agreed: And the Blanks in the Names were filled up at the Table.

Resolved, That the Quorum of the Commission for England be Seventeen.

Resolved, That the Quorum of the Commission for Scotland shall be Thirteen.

Resolved, That the Quorum of the Commission for Ireland be Thirteen.

The Question being put, That there be a Quorum of Persons in the Bill;

It passed in the Negative.

Resolved, That the Clause and Clauses of the Quorum of Persons in the Commission for England be left out of the Bill.

Resolved, That the Clause and Clauses of the Quorum of Persons in the Commission for Scotland be left out of the Bill.

Resolved, That the Clause and Clauses of the Quorum for Persons in the Commission for Ireland be left out of the Bill.

Resolved, That, in the Line of the last Folio of the Bill, next before the Word "Session," the Word "last" be inserted.

Resolved, That this Bill, thus amended, be ingrossed.
