A LETTER from the Lords, the States General, from Amsterdam, of the Fourth Day of September 1651, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the said Letter be referred to the Council of State, to take the same into Consideration; and to do therein as they shall think fit; according to Justice.

Letters read.

A Letter from the Earl of Oldenberg, from Oldenbury, of the Fifteenth Day of August 1651, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the said Letter be referred to the Council of State, to give Reception unto Hermannus Alylias, Agent to the Earl of Oldenbergh, as they shall think fit; and to make Report to the Parliament, as there shall be Cause.

A Letter from the Duke of Tuscany, from Florence, of the Twenty-ninth of August 1651 was this Day read.

A Letter from Amerigo Saluett, from his House in Great St. Bartholomew's was this Day read.

Ordered, That the said Letter from the Duke of Tuscany be referred to the Council of State, to consider of the Business touching the Ship therein mentioned; and to do therein according to Justice.

Resolved, That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider of the Letter of the publick Minister from the Grand Duke of Tuscany, now read; and of his former Address; and what lies before them concerning the same: And to take it into speedy Consideration, for an Answer to be given thereunto; and report their Opinion to the Parliament.

Frauds in Prizes.

Resolved, That it be likewise referred to the Council of State, to consider of some Course for preventing the Frauds in Prizes; and to report their Opinions therein to the Parliament.

Propagating the Gospel.

Mr. Lechmere reports, from the Committee for plundered Ministers, Amendments to the Bill for the Propagation of the Gospel: Which were twice read; and upon the Question, the said Bill, with the Amendments, was committed to a grand Committee of the whole House.

Resolved, That the House be resolved into a grand Committee, on this Day Fortnight, and so de die in diem, till Saturday following, upon the said Bill and Amendments; and that Mr. Speaker do then forbear to take the Chair.

Jenkyn's Petition.

The humble Petition of Wm. Jenkyn, Prisoner, was this Day read.

Resolved, That the said Mr. Wm. Jenkyn be pardoned, both for Life and Estate, for and in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That the said Mr. Wm. Jenkyn be forthwith discharged of his Imprisonment and Bail; and likewise his Estate discharged of and from Sequestration: And the Commissioners for Compounding, and all other Officers, are required to take Notice hereof, and to observe the same accordingly.

Case pardoned.

The humble Petition of Thomas Case, Prisoner in the Tower, was this Day read.

Resolved, That the said Mr. Thomas Case be pardoned, both for Life and Estate, for and in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal, be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That the said Mr. Thomas Case be forthwith discharged of his Imprisonment and Bail; and likewise his Estate discharged of and from Sequestration: And the Commissioners for Compounding, and all other Officers, are required to take Notice hereof, and to observe the same, accordingly.

Robinson pardoned.

The humble Petition of Ralph Robinson, Prisoner in the Tower of London, was this Day read.

Resolved, That Mr. Ralph Robinson be pardoned, both for Life and Estate, for and in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in Common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That Mr. Ralph Robinson be forthwith discharged and released of his Imprisonment; and that the Lieutenant of the Tower do discharge him, accordingly; and that his Estate be discharged from Sequestration, and the Sequestration be forthwith taken off and discharged: And the Commissioners for Compounding are to take Notice thereof, and to discharge it, accordingly.

Watson pardoned.

The humble Petition of Thomas Watson, Minister, now Prisoner in St. Martin's Lane, was this Day read.

Resolved, That Mr. Thomas Watson be pardoned, for Life and Estate, for or in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That Mr. Thomas Watson, now Prisoner in Martin's Lane, be forthwith discharged of his Imprisonment, and the Sequestration of his Estate be from henceforth taken off and discharged: And the Commissioners for Compounding, and all others whom it may concern, are required to take Notice hereof, and to observe the same, accordingly.

Drake pardoned.

Resolved, That Roger Drake, Doctor of Physick, be pardoned, both for Life and Estate, for and in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the same, accordingly.

Resolved, That the said Doctor Roger Drake be forthwith discharged and released of his Imprisonment; and that the Sequestration of the Estate of the said Doctor Roger Drake be taken off and discharged: And that the Commissioners for Compounding, and all others whom it may concern, are to take Notice hereof, and observe the same, accordingly.

Arthuro Jackson pardoned.

The humble Petition of Arthure Jackson, Prisoner in the Fleet, was this day read.

Resolved, That the said Mr. Arthure Jackson Minister, be pardoned for his Life, for and in respect of the Treasons, and Misprision of Treason, whereof he stands accused.

Resolved, That the said Mr. Arthure Jackson be also pardoned for his Estate, for and in respect of the said Treasons and Misprision of Treason, whereof he stands accused.

Resolved, That Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon for the said Mr. Arthure Jackson, for Life and Estate, for and in respect of the said Treasons and Misprison of Treason, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Colonel Jackson pardoned.

Resolved, That Lieutenant Colonel Jackson be pardoned, both for Life and Estate, for and in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That Lieutenant Colonel Jackson be forthwith discharged of his Imprisonment, and likewise his Estate discharged of and from Sequestration; and the Commissioners for Compounding, and all other Officers whom it may concern, are required to take Notice hereof, and observe the same, accordingly.

Vaughan pardoned.

Resolved, That Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Vaughan be pardoned, for Life and Estate, for or in respect of his Treason, and other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That the said Lieutenant Colonel Vaughan be forthwith discharged of his Imprisonment; and likewise his Estate discharged of and from Sequestration: And the Commissioners for Compounding, and all other Officers whom it may concern, are required to take Notice hereof, and observe the same, accordingly.

Massey pardoned.

Resolved, That Captain Hugh Massey be pardoned, for Life and Estate, for or in respect of his Treason, or other Crimes and Offences, of which he stands accused; and that Mr. Attorney General be authorized and required to prepare a Pardon, in common Form, for that Purpose, to be passed under the Great Seal of England: And that the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal of England be authorized and required to pass the same under the Great Seal, accordingly.

Resolved, That Captain Hugh Massey be discharged of his Imprisonment; and likewise his Estate discharged of and from Sequestration: And the Commissioners for Compounding and all other Officers whom it may concern, are required to take Notice hereof, and observe the same, accordingly.
