Prayers.

Distribution of Collection.

ORDERED, That the Monies Yesterday collected, as the Charity of this House, be equally distributed between the Two Parishes of Margarett's, Westminster, and Martin's in the Fields: And that it be referred to Colonel Grosvenor and Mr. Sherwyn, calling to them respectively the Churchwardens and Overseers of those Parishes respectively, to take care that the Monies appointed for their Poor be disposed to the most necessitous Poor of the said respective Parishes.

Lilborne's Petition.

The humble Petition of Elizabeth Lilborne, Widow, late Wife of Mr. John Lilborne, deceased, was this Day read: And it is

Ordered, That it be referred to a Committee to examine the Matter of Fact of Mrs. Lilborne's Petition; and to report to the House what they shall think fit, in their Opinions, to be done thereupon.

The Committee was accordingly named, as followeth; Captain Baines, Captain Lilborne, Mr. Goodrick, Sir Arth. Hesilrigg, Colonel Okey, Mr. Cary Raleigh, Mr. Marvell, Mr. Margetts, Captain Stone, Mr. Hewley, Mr. Trenchard, Mr. Nevill, Mr. Hildesley, Colonel Bennett, Colonel Alured, Major-General Bridge, Colonel Thompson, Colonel Grosvenor, Colonel Scrope, Colonel Talbott, Mr. Rushworth, Mr. Wagstaffe, Mr. James Hayes, Colonel Parsons, Colonel Clark, Mr. Bodwrda: And they, or any Four of them, are to meet, upon this Petition, at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Petition against a Member.

The humble Petition of the well-affected Inhabitants of the City of Worcester was this Day read: And it is thereupon

Ordered, That Mr. Thomas Streete, one of the Members of this House named in the said Petition, be required to attend the House; and to give his Answer to the House concerning the Matters complained of in the said Petition, on Tuesday Morning next.

Privilege-intrusion of a Stranger.

The House being informed, that a Stranger, and no Member of this House, had intruded himself into this House, and had sat in the House, and had heard the Debates of the House several Days;

The same Person was seized on by the Serjeant, and by him put forth at the Door: And it was thereupon ordered, that he be forthwith brought in again to the Bar.

He was brought in accordingly: And being asked his Name; he answered, His Name was William King: That he came as a Petitioner; but that Sir John Dethick joyed him last Lord's-Day of his being chosen a Parliament-Man: That he thought he had been chosen: and so came into the House, and sat.

Whereupon he was commanded to withdraw.

Resolved, &c. That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House do take the said William King into his Custody; and that he be committed a Prisoner to Newgate during the Pleasure of this House, for his Offence and Misdemeanor, in his wilful, insolent, and bold intruding himself into this House, and sitting this Day, and several other Days, in this House to hear the Debates of this House, being no Member of this House.

The said Wm. King was brought to the Bar; and, kneeling there as a Delinquent, Mr. Speaker pronounced the Sentence of Imprisonment on him, accordingly: Whereupon he withdrew.

The said Wm. King was again brought in to the Bar: And being asked, Where he lived; and what his Calling and Employment was; he answered, He was a Vintner by his Calling, and lived at the Royal Exchange Tavern near the Stocks; and expressed, how much he had suffered by his elder Brother, as he conceived, who had endeavoured to deprive him of his Estate. And by the Command of the House withdrew.

Beamont, Mr. Hewley, Mr. Juxon, Dr. Claerges, Colonel Morley, Colonel Twisleton, Mr. Wharton, Mr. Burton, Colonel Alured, Mr. Bodwrda, Colonel Rogers, Mr. Manley, and all the Members of this House that serve for any the Counties or Places in North Wales, South Wales, and for the County of Monmouth, or any the Boroughs or Places within the said County of Monmouth, are appointed a Committee; and they, or any Four or more of them, are to consider how North-Wales and South-Wales, and the County of Monmouth may be supplied with a learned, pious, sufficient, and able Ministry: And are to examine by whom the Revenues belonging to the Church there have been received; and to whom, and how, and by whom, the same have been issued and disposed: And are to inquire into the Matter of Fact, and state and report the same to the House, and to present such Bills as they shall think fit, for Redress of all Grievances concerning the same: And have Power to send for Parties, Witnesses, Papers, and Records: And are to meet on Tuesday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer-Chamber: And the Care hereof is recommended to Mr. Serjeant Seys and Colonel Freeman.
