Corpus Christi Col. Oxon.

A BILL for Settling of the perpetual Advowson, Patronage, and Right of Presentation, of the Rectory of Marston Mesey, in the County of Wiltes, upon the President and Scholars of Corpus-Christi College in Oxford, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the same Committee who brought in the Bill: To meet in the Speaker's Chamber, at Two of the Clock this Afternoon: With Power to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Ld. Abergavenny's Estate.

A Bill to enable John Lord Abergavenny, Son and Heir of Henry late Lord Abergavenny, to alien the Reversion of certain Lands and Tenements, for Payment of his Debts, and Advancement of his Brother and Sisters, was this Day read the Second time.

The humble Petition of George Nevill and Francis Nevill, of Newton St. Loe, in the County of Somerset, Esquires, and several other Heirs Males in Remainder to the Honour and Estate of John Lord Abergavenny, was this Day read.

The Question being put, That this Bill be committed;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

Bacon, Mr. F. Rous, Alderman Foote, Sir Christofer Pack, Mr. Lucy, Mr. Heldsley, Colonel Cock, Colonel Cooper, Mr. Collins, Major Audley, Mr. Secretary, Captain Lilborne, Captain Mason, Mr. Jenkinson, Mr. Brooke, Colonel Ingoldsby, Mr. Grove, Mr. Bampfeild: And this Committee are to meet To-morrow Morning, at Seven of the Clock, at the Inner Court of Wards.

Ordered, That the Petition of George Nevill and Francis Nevill, of Newton St. Loe, in the County of Somerset, Esquires, and several other Heirs Males in Remainder to the Honour and Estate of John Lord Abergavenny, be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill to enable John Lord Abergavenny to alien the Reversion of certain Lands and Tenements, for Payment of his Debts, &c. is referred.

Resolved, That this Committee have Power to send for Persons, Papers, Witnesses, and Records.

Lord Clandeboy's Composition.

A Bill for the Confirmation of the Composition of James Lord Viscount Clandeboy was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the Committee to whom the Bill touching the Lord Abergavenny is committed: To meet To-morrow Morning, at Seven of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Remonstrance.

The House, according to former Order, resumed the Debate upon the Remonstrance.

The Clause in the Fourth Article, beginning thus, viz. "And that these Qualifications," &c. was read;

Resolved, That Commissioners be appointed to the Intents and Purposes in this Part of this Article mentioned, and as shall be agreed on by this House.

Ordered, That the Consideration of this Clause with this Vote, be referred to Lord Commissioner Whitelock, Lord Broghill, Mr. Secretary, Colonel Jones, Mr. Attorney General, Mr. Bond, Lord Chief-Justice Glyn, Colonel Matthews, Major-General Bridge, Colonel Zanchy, Mr. Recorder, Captain Blakwell, Colonel Cock, Mr. Stone, Lord Commissioner Lisle, Baron Parker, Colonel Brooke, Colonel Blake, Major Audley, Captain Hatsell, Colonel Hawksworth, Major-General Berry, Mr. Godfrey, Mr. Bampfeild, Alderman Tigh, Lord Howard, Mr. Nath. Bacon, Alderman Foot, Sir John Reynolds, Colonel Carter, Mr. Bodurda, Colonel Wilton, Colonel Cooper, Lord Commissioner Fiennes: And are to meet To-morrow, at Seven of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Resolved, That the Debate upon the following Clause be adjourned till To-morrow Morning; nothing to intervene.
