Whalley's &c. Estate.

ORDERED, That Lord Deputy of Ireland, and Mr. Williams, be added to the Committee for Judge Advocate Whalley's Bill.

Recusants.

Ordered, That Colonel Blake and Mr. Nicholas be added to the Bill for Recusants.

Ld. Cobham's Estate.

Ordered, That Captain Baines, and Mr. Bond be added to the Committee for Lord Cobham's Bill.

Earl of Huntingdon's Estate.

A Bill to confirm the Sale of Lands sold by Ferdinando late Earl of Huntingdon, whereby he paid several Debts; and for the Sale of some other Lands, for Payment of the Residue of his Debts; was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time on Saturday Morning next.

Civil Law.

Ordered, That Colonel Purefoy and Colonel Grasvener be added to the Committee for the Civil Law.

Restraining Buildings.

Ordered, That the Bill, prohibiting building Houses in London and Westminster, be read the First time on Saturday Morning next.

Northern Borders.

A Bill for the better Suppressing of Theft upon the Borders of England and Scotland, &c. was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to Mr. Robinson, Sir James Macdowell, Lord Cockram, Mr. Robert Fenwick, Mr. Wm. Fenwick, Major-General Lilborne, Mr. Brisco, Major-General Howard, Lord Lambert, Colonel Rous, Sir Christofer Pack, Mr. Downing, Mr. Lockhart, Judge-Advocate Whaley, Mr. Smith, Mr. Law rence, Mr. Shield, Mr. Swynton, Lord Eure, General Disbrow, and all the Gentlemen that serve for the Four Northern Counties: And are to meet at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Duchy-Chamber: With Power to insert a Clause for Remanding; and to bring it into the House.

Highways.

A Bill for the better Amending and Repairing of the Highways of this Commonwealth was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time upon Tuesday next.

Union with Scotland.

The House, according to former Order, was this Day resolved into a Grand Committee, upon the Bill for Uniting Scotland into one Commonwealth with England.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Bampfeild took the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Bampfield reports the Desire of the Committee, That this House will appoint another Day for them to sit.

Ordered, That on Saturday next the House be resolved into a Grand Committee, upon the Bill for Uniting Scotland into one Commonwealth with England.
