Yarmouth Ministers:

AN Act for raising Money for the Maintenance of Ministers in Great Yarmouth, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed: Viz. to Mr. Robinson, Mr. Hoskins, Major General Whaley, General Desbrow, Major Burton, Colonel Shapcott, Major Beake, Mr. Bampfeild, Colonel Wood, Colonel Cock, Captain Hatsell, Mr. Bond, Colonel Chadwick, Lord Strickland, Mr. Bedford, Mr. Pygott, Colonel Wilton, Major General Berry, Lord Broghill, Mr. Stanley, Mr. Hopkins, Colonel Purefoy, Mr. Bisse, Mr. Parker, Captain Blakewell, Colonel Carter: And are to meet Tomorrow, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Inner Court of Wards.

Union with Ireland.

Ordered, That the Bill for Ireland be brought in, and read, To-morrow Morning, the first Business.

Court of Wards.

The House this Day resumed the Debate upon the Amendments to the Bill for taking away the Court of Wards and Liveries: And the said Amendments were, upon the Question, re-committed. And it is

Ordered, That all the Members that come to this Committee shall have Voices: And this Committee are to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Inner Court of Wards.

Excise and Customs.

Captain Baines reports from the Committee for Excise of Customs, The Opinion of the said Committee, That the Customs of Spanish Wines be raised from four Pounds Ten Shillings the Ton to Six Pounds the Ton: That the Excise upon Spanish Wines be raised from Six Pounds per Ton to Nine Pounds per Ton: That Three Pounds per Ton Excise be also added to the Six Pounds already imposed upon Spanish Wines now in the Vintners Hands; and that the same be considered in the Price of Wines.

That it be also reported, as the humble Opinion of this Committee, That the Customs upon Raisins of the Sun be raised from Two Shillings per Hundred Weight to Five Shillings per Hundred Weight; and that the Customs upon all other Spanish Raisins be raised from One Shilling Six-pence per Hundred Weight to Three Shillings per Hundred Weight: Provided, that for so much of the said Raisins, as shall be exported again, all the Customs be paid back, except One Shilling per Hundred Weight for Raisins of the Sun, and Nine-pence per Hundred Weight for all other Spanish Raisins.

That it be also reported to the Parliament, That the Excise of all Tobacco, of the English Plantations, be reduced from Three-pence to a Peny the Pound; and that thereupon no View or Allowance be made for, or in respect of, the said Tobaccoes.

Resolved, That the House doth agree with the Committee, that the Custom of Spanish Wines be raised from Four Pounds Ten Shillings the Ton to Six Pounds the Ton.

Resolved, That the House doth agree, That the Excise upon Spanish Wines be raised from Six Pounds per Ton to Nine Pounds per Ton.

Ordered, That the further Debate on this Report be adjourned till To-morrow Morning.
