Weaver's Claims.

THE humble Petition of John Weaver, a Member of Parliament, was this Day read.

Resolved, by the Parliament, That Lands of Inheritance of the clear yearly Value of Two hundred and Fifty Pounds, of the confiscated Lands in Scotland, of a clear Estate, be settled upon John Weaver Esquire, and his Heirs, in respect of his faithful Services to the Parliament, and his Losses.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do write a Letter to the Commissioners for managing the Affairs in Scotland, to set out Lands, according to the former Vote, to the said Mr. Weaver, or his Assigns, accordingly; and to put him, or his Assigns, into the Possession thereof.

Ld. Mounson's Petition.

The humble Petition of Wm. Lord Mounson was this Day read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to a Committee, to examine the Business; and to report it to the Parliament; viz. Unto Sir Henry Vane, Mr. Nevill, MajorGeneral Harrison, Major Salwey, Sir James Harrington, Col. Morley, Mr. Aldworth, Mr. Hayes, Col. Sidney, Mr. Goodwyn, Sir John Bourchier, Mr. Garland, Mr. Weaver, Mr. Allein, Sir Henry Mildmay, Mr. Blagrave, Mr. Holland, Mr. Challoner, Mr. Dormer, Mr. Attorney, Sir Peter Wentworth, Mr. Say, or any Five of them: And all that come to have Voices: And to meet in the Court of Wards this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, and so de die in diem.

Adventurers for Ireland.

The House this Day, according to former Order, resumed the Debate upon the Bill for the speedy and effectual Satisfaction of the Adventurers for Lands in Ireland; and of the Arrears due to the Soldiery; and for the Encouragement of Protestants to plant and inhabit Ireland.

The Question being propounded, That the Officers and Soldiers be allowed Two Thirds, in Proportion with the Adventurers for the Lands, for their Arrears:

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed in the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put; It was

Resolved, by the Parliament, That the Officers and Soldiers be allowed Two Thirds, in Proportion with the Adventurers for Land, for their Arrears.

Resolved, That it be referred to Colonel Sidney and Colonel Rich to word the Clause, in the Bill, according to this Vote: And report it To-morrow Morning to the House.

Correspondence with Hamborow.

Resolved, That the Declaration and Letters sent to Mr. Speaker from Hamborow, be referred to the Council of State, to cause the said Declaration to be translated; and to take Consideration of them; and report it to the Parliament.

Transactions with Denmark.

Ordered, That the Council of State be required to report to the Parliament the whole Matter of Fact in relation to Denmark.
