Forfeited Estates.

The House this Day resumed the Debate upon the Amendments to the Bill for Sale of the Lands and Estates of several Persons forfeited to the Commonwealth for Treason.

Resolved, That the Name of the Lady Beomont be inserted into this Bill.

Resolved, That the inserting the Name of Thomas Lord Brudnell into this Bill be respited for the present.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Commissioners for Compounding, to state the Case touching the Lord Brudnell; and to certify the same, and the Matter of Fact, to the Parliament, on Friday Morning next.

Resolved, That the inserting the Name of Wm. Brand, in the County of Lincoln, being upon his Appeal, into this Bill, be respited for the present.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Commissioners for Compounding, to state the Case, and the Matter of Fact, touching the Delinquency of the said Wm. Brand, and what hath been done therein, and how the Case now stands; and certify the same to the Parliament, on Friday next.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Commissioners for Compounding, to certify the true State of the Case concerning the Sequestration of the said William Cobbe for Delinquency; and that they send to the Commissioners, in the County of Norfolk, to certify them upon what Ground he was sequestred, and at what Time he was sequestred; and return their Certificate by Friday next.

Fulham Minister.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That the Sum of One hundred Pounds formerly settled by Order of Parliament on the 29th of January 1647, upon Adoniram Byfield, one of the Scribes of the Assembly of Divines, then Vicar of Fulham, during his natural Life, if he should so long continue Vicar there, out of the Rent reserved upon the Demise of the impropriate Rectory of Ashwell, with the Appurtenances, in the County . . Hartford, Parcel of the Possessions belonging to the late Bishoprick of London, be paid quarterly, by equal Portions, unto Isaac Knight, now Minister of Fulham, during his natural Life, if he shall continue so long Minister there; and that the Trustees appointed by the Act, intituled, An Act for Maintenance of Ministers, and other pious Uses, and all other Persons whom it doth or shall concern, be and are hereby authorized and required, from time to time, to issue forth their Order and Warrant to their Treasurer, to make due Payment of the said yearly Sum of One hundred Pounds as aforesaid, accordingly; the First Payment to begin, and be made, on the Five-and-twentieth Day of December next; and the said Order and Warrant of the said Trustees, or other Persons so concerned, together with the Acquittance of the said Isaac Knight, shall be, from time to time, a sufficient Warrant and Discharge to the said Treasurers, for Payment of the said yearly Sum, in Manner as aforesaid, accordingly. And it is further Ordered, That the said Isaac Knight shall from thenceforth pay, or suffer to be received and paid, unto the Minister of the New Chapel in Hammersmith, in the said Parish of Fulham, all the Tythes, Pensions, and Profits formerly payable to the Vicar of Fulham, arising from Hammersmith Side, or Division; this to be continued to the Minister of Hammersmith, for so long Time as the said Isaac Knight, shall receive and enjoy the said yearly Sum of One hundred Pounds, as aforesaid.
