Prayers.

Howard's Composition.

RESOLVED, by the Parliament, That Sir Robert Howard have Six Weeks Liberty for Payment in of the Money for his Composition, without Prejudice in the mean time for Non-payment thereof: And that the Commissioners for Compounding do admit the same accordingly.

Delinquents Estates.

The House proceeded with the Report made on Friday last, of the Names of Persons who have the major Number for Officers in the Bill for Sale of Delinquents Estates.

Ordered, That Wm. Skinner be one of the Trustees in this Bill.

Resolved, That Wm. Robinson be one of the Trustees in this Bill.

Resolved, That Sampson Sheffield be one of the Trustees in this Bill.

Resolved, That Samuell Gookin be one of the Trustees in this Bill.

Resolved, That the Information given to the House against Samuell Gookin be referred unto a Committee, to examine the Truth of it; and report it to the House: Viz. unto Mr. Scott, Mr. Carew, Mr. Darley, Mr. Say, Mr. Millington, Mr. Holland, Mr. Oldesworth, Mr. Clement, Mr. Stephens, Mr. Fell, Mr. Pyne, Mr. Hodges, Mr. Love, Mr. Gurdon, Mr. Ralegh, Lieutenant General Fleetwood, Mr. Hallowes, Alderman Pennyngton, Colonel Marten, Mr. Boone, Mr. Garland, Mr. Nevill, Colonel Thompson, Alderman Atkin, Captain Skinner, Mr. Moyle, or any Five of them: And they have Power to examine upon Oath: And are to meet, in the Exchequer Chamber, this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock.

Resolved, That Robert Manwaring be Register Accomptant in this Bill.

Resolved, That Randall Manwaring be Comptroller in this Bill.

The Question being propounded, That John Baker be Surveyor General;

The Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, That the Time in this Bill for making and determining the Claims be the First of December One thousand Six hundred Fifty-and-one.

Resolved, That that Part of this Bill, beginning with the Word "whereas," and ending with this Word, "claiming," in the End of the Second Press of Parchment in the Bill, together with the several Amendments and Interlineations therein formerly voted by the Parliament, be fairly ingrossed by the Clerk, at the Table: And that the same be made Part of the Bill, instead of that Part which is already interlined, before the Passing of this Bill.

The said Part of the Bill, being accordingly new-ingrossed, was read, and examined by Mr. Speaker, with the first Ingrossment: And the Two former Presses were, at the Table, taken off; and the new Ingrossment, by Order of the House, sewed on; and ordered to be Part of the Bill.

The Question being put, That Sir John Greenvill, of Kelkhampton in the County of Cornwall, Knight, do stand in this Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That Richard Thornell Esquire, Son of Sir Timothy Thornell, of Ollartigh in the County of Kent, Knight, do stand in this Bill;

It passed with the Negative.

Grant to General Skippon.

An Act to settle Manors, Lands, and Tenements, upon Major General Philip Skippon, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the First of September, in this Act, be made the First of December.

The said Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed.

Whaddon Chaee.

Resolved, That the Remainder of the Monies, by Order of Parliament, of the Thirteenth of January 1648, appointed to be raised out of the Fall and Sale of decayed Trees and Pollards, and no other, growing in and upon the Grounds and Woods of the Duke of Bucks, in the County of Bucks, for the Garison of Windsore, and the Pay of the Horse Forces in the County of Bucks, shall be raised by the Sale of Trees growing and being in or upon the Chace, called Whaddon Chace, to be taken by the Persons, and employed to the Uses, appointed by the said Order; and in such manner as is thereby directed.

Delinquents Estates.

Ordered, That the Debate upon the Bill for Sale of several Delinquents Estates be taken up To-morrow Morning, the first Business.

Chancellor &c. of Lancaster.

An Act for continuing of John Bradshaw, Serjeant at Law, and Lord President of the Council of State, Chancellor of the Duchy and County Palatine of Lancaster, and Bartholomew Hall Esquire, Attorney General for the Duchy of Lancaster, was this Day read the First time.

The Question being put, That the Time of the Continuance of this Act do stand as it is in the Bill;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

So it passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That this Act continue till the First Day of December 1651.

The said Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed.

The humble Petition of Thomas Lord Brudenell, was this Day read.
