Prayers.

Gosse's Case.

MR. Gurdon reports from the Commissioners for compounding with Delinquents, the State of the Case of Samuel Gosse, deceased.

Resolved, by the Parliament, That the Orders made by the late House of Lords, in the Case of the Lord Rich, who was taken in Execution, at the Suit of Samuel Gosse, and all Proceedings thereupon, are null and void.

Resolved, &c. That all the Estate which the said Lord Rich now hath, or had at the Time of the said Execution, or at any time since, either in his own Right, or in the Right of his Wife, or that any other Person or Persons hath in Trust for him, or to his Use, shall be liable to the Satisfaction of the Thousand and Six Pounds, due by the Judgment, upon which the said Lord Rich was taken in Execution: And that it be referred back to the same Committee, to bring in an Act for that Purpose.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That Mr. Gurdon do, on Tuesday next, make the Report touching the taking off the Sequestration from the Estate of Mr. Rogers, deceased; and of the Lady Rich his late Wife, now Wife of the Lord Rich: and touching her Delinquency: And that the Lord Chief Baron be ordered to deliver over to Mr. Gurdon the Papers touching that Business, for that Purpose.

Relief of Creditors.

Ordered, by the Parliament, That Mr. Say do report the Act for Relief of Creditors, the first Business, Tomorrow Morning.

Grant to Horton, &c.

Mr. Garland reports from the Committee, the Act for settling upon Colonel Horton his Brigade the Lands and Possessions of John Barlow Esquire, formerly given to Major General Langhorne, without any Amendments.

And the Question being put, That this Act be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the Act, being put to the Question, was, upon the Question, passed.

Publick Revenue.

Resolved, &c. That the House do take into Debate, on Tuesday next, the State of the Publick Charge for the next Year; and the best Way and Means how the same may be raised with the greatest Ease to the People; and the best Manner of Regulation of the Publick Revenue: And that the same be taken up the first Business on that Day; and nothing to intervene; and so proceed in that Debate till it be determined.

Goldsmiths Hall Revenue.

Ordered, That the Committee of Goldsmiths Hall be required to sit this Afternoon: and so de die in diem; to prepare an Account of the true State of the Revenue and Treasury there, and of the Condition of the Sequestrations, and whatever else may be requisite for settling this Business; and to make their Reports on Tuesday next.

Resolved, &c. That the Quorum of that Committee be Three, as to this Purpose.

And Mr. Trenchard is to take care thereof.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider of the State of the Affairs in reference to this Business; and what may be most conducible thereunto; and report it to the House at that time.

And Sir Henry Vane is to take care thereof.

Navy.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Corbett do make such necessary Reports from the Committee of the Navy, Tomorrow Morning, as may conduce to this Purpose.
