Prayers.

Murder of Dr. Dorislaus.

MR. Speaker informs the House of some Intelligence from the Dutch Ambassador, touching the Murder of Dr. Dorislaus, the Agent for the Parliament in Holland.

Proclaiming Abolition of Monarchy.

Ordered, That Colonel Venn do give an Account to this House, on Monday Morning next, touching the proclaiming of the Act for abolishing the Kingly Office by the Lord Mayor and Aldermen of the City of London.

Judicial Seals.

An Act for altering the original Seal of the Two Counties of Denbigh and Montgomery, was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed.

An Act for altering the former Seal of the Nisi Prius, belonging to the Upper Bench, formerly called the King's Bench, was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed.

Mr. Love reports from the Committee touching Seals, a new Seal for the Marshals Court in the Borough of Southwarke, on which is engraven the English Arms; viz. A Cross, with a fretted Border in the Circle.

And the Seal itself, being presented to the House, was, upon the Question, agreed.

Marshal's Court.

Ordered, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider of the Jurisdiction of the Marshal's Court in the Borough of Southwarke, and the Court of the Verge; and the Conveniences and Inconveniency of the said Courts:

Mr. Martyn, Mr. Love, Mr. Garland, Mr. Reynolds, Colonel Lister, Lord Howard, Sir Henry Vane, Colonel Thompson, Mr. Allen, Mr. Goodwyn, Mr. Millington, Sir William Brereton, Mr. John Corbett, Serjeant Nicholas, Mr. Burrel, Mr. Carew, Sir John Danvers, Colonel Wayte, Mr. Challener, Alderman Wilson, Mr. Rigby, Mr. Stephens, Sir John Bourchier, Sir William Allanson, Sir Tho. Walsingham; or any Five of them: And this Committee are to meet in the Exchequer Chamber, Friday Sevennight; and so de die in diem: And this Committee have Power to send for Persons, Papers, &c. And the special Care hereof is referred to Mr. Love and Mr. John Goodwyn: And all that come to this Committee are to have Voices.

The Mint.

Alderman Wilson reports from the Council of State, That the said Council hath considered the Indentures, and have filled up the Blanks concerning the kinds of the Coins; and that they do present to the House Sir John Wollaston, as a fit Person for Master-worker of the Mint.

Ordered, That it be referred back to the Council of State, to call Sir Robert Harley before them; and to consider of the whole Business; and what is fit to be done therein; and report it to the House To-morrow Morning.

Sir J. Danvers.

Ordered, That the Report touching Sir John Danvers, a Member of this House, be made This-day-sevennight by Serjeant Nicholas: And that, in the mean time, nothing be done, by any Committee of this House, to his Prejudice.

Tower Hamlets Militia.

An Act for settling and ordering the Militia within the Hamlets of the Tower of London, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the same Committee.

Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Oldsworth, Mr. Edwards, Colonel Feilder, Colonel Venn, Mr. Challoner, Mr. Dove, Mr. Leman, Sir John Bourchier, Commissary General Ireton; or any Five of them;

This Committee are to meet this Afternoon at Three of the Clock: And Mr. Reynolds is to take Care of it; and to bring it in on Monday Morning: And this Committee have Power to add or alter the Names of the Persons, as they shall think fit.

Colonel Sidney reports from the Committee for the Irish Affairs, What Pay rests due to the several Officers hereafter mentioned upon their Accompts stated, after Deductions made of what can appear to have been received by each of them, in Part of the Pay due to them, as followeth; viz.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for Irishe Affairs, sitting in the Star Chamber, to audite and stale the Accounts of Colonel Sidney, for his Service done in Munster and Lempster; and to report it to the House.

Ordered, That the same Committee do take Consideration likewise of Captain Nathaniel Hewett, Lieutenant Colonel Beecher, Colonel Edmund Temple, and Captain Thomas Scott; to audite and state their Accompts, for their Services done in Ireland; and report the same to the House.

Ordered, That it be likewise referred to the same Committee, to take Consideration of the Accounts of Lieutenant Colonel Naper, for his Service done in Ireland; and audite and state his Accompts; and report it to the House; and to take care, with these Reports, to make Report also touching the Officers of Munster, formerly referred unto them, which was in Colonel Moore's Hands; and how they may receive some Satisfaction; on Monday Sevennight.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Revenue do forthwith pay unto Lieutenant Colonel Beecher, the Money formerly ordered unto him: And it is especially recommended to the Care of Colonel Harrison, Mr. Humphry Edwards, and Sir Henry Myldmay, to take especial Care to see the same forthwith paid accordingly. And

It is further Ordered, That the said Lieutenant Colonel Beecher have the same daily Allowance, as was ordered him by the High Court of Justice for attending upon the late King, continued and paid upon him, until the Time that the Lord Goring and Sir John Owen were discharged from their Imprisonment, for his Service in attending upon them: And that the said Colonel Harrison, Mr. Humphry Edwards, and Sir Henry Myldmay, do ascertain to the said Committee, What the same amounts unto: And that the same be satisfied to him by the Committee of the Revenue accordingly.

Dutch Officers.

Ordered, That the Business of the Dutch Officers be reported This-day-sevennight.

Ld. Forbis.

Ordered, That the Lord Forbis his Business be taken into Consideration This-day-sevennight.

Reduced Officers.

The humble Petition of the reduced Officers of the County of Dorsett was this Day read.

Ordered, That the Petitioners do deliver in, to the Committee at Goldsmiths Hall, a List of the Names of such Persons within the County of Dorsett, as are sequestrable, and are not sequestred: And That Committee to give Order for their present Sequestration, if they shall find Cause: And that a Moiety of the Fines and Compositions of such of the said Delinquents within that County, as they shall discover within Three Months next coming, shall be allowed towards their Arrears.
