Prayers.

Admiralty.

MR. Garland reports Amendments to an Act, whereby the Court of Admiralty may proceed to Sentence, notwithstanding Prohibitions to the contrary: Which were this Day read; and, upon the Question, assented unto.

And the said Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed.

London Poor.

Mr. Garland reports Amendments to an Act for the Relief and Employment of the Poor, and the Punishment of Vagrants, and other disorderly Persons, within the City of London, and Liberties thereof: Which were this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to Serjeant Thorpe, Mr. Rigby, Mr. Garland; to withdraw, and bring it in presently.

Dean and Chapters Lands.

The House this Day proceeded in the Amendments to the Bill for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands.

The Question being propounded, That Mr. Shute be nominated for one of the Trustees in the Act for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

The House was divided.

The Noes went forth.

So it passed with the Negative.

The Question being propounded, That Rowland Wilson Gentleman be nominated for one of the Trustees in the Act for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands;

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed in the Affirmative.

And so the main Question being put;

It was Resolved, &c. That Rowland Wilson Gentleman be nominated for one of the Trustees, in the Act for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Oxenbridge be nominated to be one of the Contractors for the Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands.

Resolved, &c. That Nicolas Martyn, of Lincoln's Inn, Esquire, be nominated and appointed to be of Counsel in the Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands.

Resolved, &c. That Ralph Hall Gentleman be nominated to be Deputy to the Register appointed by the Bill for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands.

Navy Committee.

Ordered, That the Earl of Pembroke be added to the Committee of the Navy.

Dean and Chapters ands.

Resolved, &c. That the Rate for Sale of Dean and Chapters Lands be, instead of Fifteen Years Purchase, made Twelve Years Purchase; and so in proportion for the Reversions: And the Committee are to take care to apportion the same in the said Bill accordingly.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill for Deans and Chapters Lands, with the Amendments, be ingrossed, and brought in on Wednesday next.

Molyn's Claims.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee appointed for the Bill for settling Twenty thousand Pounds per Annum for the Maintenance of Ministers, &c. to make Provision for the Yearly Payment of the Sum of One hundred Pounds unto Peter du Molyn, an eminently godly and learned Divine, residing in the Parts beyond the Seas, late a Prebendary of the Church of Canterbury, during the Term of his natural Life, in lieu of the One hundred Pounds per Annum formerly assigned to him.

Transporting Horses.

Ordered, That the French Ambassador have Leave to transport Eight Flaunders Mares, and Eight Geldings, Custom and Impost free: And that Mr. Speaker do grant a Pass accordingly.

Westminster, &c. Militia.

Ordered, That the Act for settling the Militia of Westminster, and the Hamlets, be read on Thursday next.

Navy, &c.

Ordered, That the Report for the Navy and Customs be made To-morrow.

Publick Fast.

Commissary General Ireton reports an Act for setting a-part a Day of Publick Fast and Humiliation, and repealing the former monthly Fast: Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and some Amendments offered at the Table; and, upon the Question, passed.
