Prayers.
Westminster Royalty.
THE House being informed, that some of the Inhabitants of the City of Westminster were at the Door;
They were called in: And, after a short Preamble made by Mr. Martyn, they presented a Petition: Which, after the Petitioners were withdrawn, was read; and was intituled, The humble Petition of the Inhabitants of the City and Liberty of Westminster.
Ordered, That the Trustees and Contractors for Sale of the Lands of the late Dean, Deans and Chapters, be injoined and required to forbear to make Sale of the Royalty of Westminster, and the Issues and Profits thereof, until this House take further Order.
Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Committee of Obstructions; to consider of the whole Petition; and to state the Matter of Fact; and present their Opinion therein to this House: And that such of the Governors of the College of Westminster, who are Members of this House, be added to this Committee, as to this Purpose.
East India Company.
The humble Petition of the Governor and Company of Merchants of London, trading into the East Indies, was this Day read.
Ordered, That the Governor and Company of Merchants of London, trading into the East Indies, have Leave, for this Time, to transport, in the Ships named the William, Love, Aleppo Merchant, Golden Fleece, and Supply, now ready to set Sail to the East Indies, the Sum of Fourscore thousand Pounds, in Foreign Coin and Bullion: And that the Commissioners of the Customs be authorized and required to pass the said Foreign Coin and Bullion accordingly.
Petition from Arundell.
The humble Petition of the Mayor, Burgesses, and well-affected Inhabitants of the Borough of Arundell in the County of Sussex, was this Day read.
Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee for Corporations; to consider thereof; and report their Opinions to the House.
Cinque Ports.
The humble Petition of the Mayor, Jurats, and Commonalty, and of the Bailiffs, Jurats, and Commonalty respectively, of the Cinque Ports, Two ancient Towns, and their Members; and of all the Barons and Inhabitants of the said Ports, Towns, and Members, was this Day read.
Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee of Corporations; to take the same into Consideration; and to report their Opinions therein to the House.
Removing Delinquents.
Mr. Salway reports from the Committee appointed Yesterday to withdraw, a Declaration for Explanation of the Act for removing Delinquents out of London and Westminster, and Twenty Miles, and confining them to their Houses, and a Vote in further Prosecution of that Act, being in these Words:
"The Parliament doth declare, That nothing in the late Act, intituled, An Act for removing all Papists, &c. shall extend to any Delinquents that have made their Compositions, and paid in or secured their Fines, or whose Delinquencies have been pardoned by the Parliament, not having acted any thing against the Parliament since they made their Compositions; they having taken and subscribed the Engagement to be true and faithful to this Commonwealth, as the same is now established, without a King, or House of Lords."
"That Power be given to the Council of State, to remove from London and Westminster, and from any Place within Twenty Miles of the same, every such Person or Persons, whose Abode there shall to them appear prejudicial or dangerous to the Safety of the Parliament, or Peace of this Commonwealth: And every such Person and Persons so ordered by the Council of State to remove, are injoined to conform thereunto accordingly, upon all and every the Penalties expressed in the late Act, intituled, An Act for removing all Papists, &c. from London and Westminster."

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do take the Chair Tomorrow at Eleven a Clock: And that the Grand Committee touching an equal Representative, and regulating Elections, do adjourn accordingly.
