Fens.
ORDERED, That the Debate touching the Bill for the Fens be adjourned until Thursday fortnight.
Act of Supply; Assessment.
An Act for the Assessments of the Army was this Day read the First time; and, upon the Question, ordered to be read the Second time on Thursday Morning next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.
Bequest to Invalid Soldiers, &c.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Haberdashers Hall, forthwith, according to the true Intent and Meaning of the Will of Mrs. Mary Paradine, to pay and distribute the Monies bequeathed by the said Will, to and amongst the maimed Soldiers, Widows, and Orphans, according to the true Meaning of the said Will, notwithstanding the former Order.
Late King's Servants.
Ordered, That, on Thursday Morning next, next after the Bill for the Assessment of the Army, the Act for relieving the poor Servants of the late King, Queen, and Prince, be read.
Mayers', &c. Accompts.
Ordered, That the Auditors of Worcester House have the same Power and Authority for stating the Accompts of Major John Mayers and Colonel Roger Fenwick, and for giving them their Oaths, and signing their Debentures, as the Committee of the Army had: And that they go by the same Rules that the said Committee went: And that they forthwith proceed therein, they being speedily to march for Ireland.
Army Accompts.
Ordered, That the Committee where Colonel Jones hath the Chair, do sit; and bring in a Bill for stating the Accompts of the Soldiery.
Crown Lands.
Ordered, That the Committee where Mr. Robinson hath the Chair, be required to sit; and with all Speed to bring in a Bill for further Instructions, for speedy Sale of the Lands of the late King, Queen, and Prince, and Removing of all Obstructions in the Sale thereof.
The Engagement.
Ordered, That the Committee appointed to consider of the Way how the Engagement be taken by the whole Nation, be enjoined to meet this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber; and report it, the first Business, on Thursday Morning: And that Three be of the Quorum: And all that come to have Voices.
