Prayers.

Hat Trade.

THE House this Day took up the Debate upon the Bill for Relief of Feltmakers and Hatbandmakers against Aliens and Strangers importing such Wares, to the Hindrance of their Manufacture.

And the said Bill, after some Amendments at the Table, being put to the Question, passed.

And it is Ordered, That the same be forthwith printed and published.

Plundered Ministers.

Ordered, That Mr. Rawley, Colonel Hutchinson, Sir Henry Myldmay, Mr. Cawley, Alderman Atkin, Sir Richard Lucy, Colonel Thompson, Colonel Rich, Mr. Hodges, Alderman Wilson, Mr. Snelling, Sir Thomas Jervis, be added to the Committee for plundered Ministers.

Trinity House.

Ordered, That William Bodiloe, George Pasfeild, and Jeremy Blackman, be added to the Committee touching the Affairs of Trinity House.

Ale and Beer.

An Act prohibiting to brew for Sale any Ale or Beer above Ten Shillings the Barrel, besides the Excise, was this Day read the Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to Colonel Thompson, Mr. Hallowes, Alderman Wilson, Mr. Scott, Mr. Holland, Mr. Challenor, Mr. Toll, Colonel Venn, Mr. Garland, Alderman Atkin, Mr. Dove, Mr. Leman, Colonel Purefoy, Mr. Snellinge, Colonel Wasthall, Sir Richard Lucy, Mr. Attorney General, Mr. Robinson, Mr. Pelham, Mr. Allen, Mr. Say, Mr. Salloway, Mr. James Challener; or any Five of them: And the Committee are to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber.

Somersett House, &c.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to dispose of the present Use of Somersett House: And that if they shall find Cause, upon hearing the Trustees for the Sale of the Goods of the late King, &c. the said Trustees have Power to accommodate themselves by the Addition of the Duchy House, and the Savoy: And, if any Person or Persons have a particular Interest in either of the said Houses, the Trustees shall have Power to give Recompence and Satisfaction for the same, during the Time they shall make Use thereof, out of the Monies to be raised by Sale of the said Goods.

Corporation Oath.

An Act for the Form of an Oath to be administred to Mayors, and other publick Officers, within England, Wales, and Town of Barwick, was this Day read the First and Second time.

And, after some Alterations made at the Table, the Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed; and ordered to be forthwith printed and published.

Sir T. Jervis', &c, Claims.

Mr. Garland reports from the Lord President's Committee, the several Petitions of Sir Thomas Jervis Knight, Robert Wallopp Esquire, and Peter Weaver Gentleman, That it hath been proved unto the said Committee, That the said Sir Thomas Jervis Knight hath lost by these Wars, to the Value of Fifteen thousand Pounds: That the said Robert Wallopp hath also thereby lost to the Value of Fifty thousand Pounds: And that this Committee do think fit, if the Parliament be so pleased, to give unto the said Peter Weaver the Sum of Five hundred Pounds for his Losses and Imprisonment by the Marquis of Winchester: And that the said Committee do also think sit that the said Sir Thomas Jervis have the Sum of Nine thousand Pounds, and the said Robert Wallopp the Sum of Ten thousand Pounds, allowed unto them out of the Marquis of Winchester's Estate, by whom principally they suffered such their Damages: And that, for the Relief of the said Sir Thomas Jervis, Robert Wallopp, and Peter Weaver, the said Mr. Garland bring in Acts of Parliament accordingly.

An Act towards the Reparations of Sir Thomas Jervis Knight his Damages sustained in the Time of the late Wars was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the same Committee; and ordered to be brought in on Tuesday Morning next.

An Act towards the Reparations of Robert Wallopp Esquire his Damages sustained in the Time of the late Wars was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed to the same Committee; and ordered to be brought in on Tuesday Morning next.

Isle of Guernsey.

Mr. Holland reports from the Council of State, An Act for authorizing and appointing Commissioners for the Ordering and Regulating of the Affairs of the Isle of Guernsey.

Which was this Day read; and, upon the Question, passed.
