ORDERED, That Mr. Edward Bish, a Member of this House, have Leave to travel to Languedock, in France, for Recovery of his Health: And that he have also Leave to carry over with him one Gelding, Custom and Impost free, upon his Promise to bring the Gelding back again with him.
Letter read.
A Letter from Colonel Jones, from Dublyn, the Sixteenth of July 1649, was this Day read.
Oconelly's Claims.
Ordered, That there be One hundred Pounds paid to Mr. Oconelly, for his Charges in his Employment for the Service of the Parliament: And that it be referred to the Council of State, to take care for the present Payment thereof unto him.
Thanks to Col. Jones, &c.
Ordered, That Letters of Thanks be written to Colonel Jones and Sir George Askew, to be signed by the Speaker: And that it be referred to the Council of State to prepare the Letters.
Supply for Ireland.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to consider how One hundred thousand Pounds may be presently advanced; and to take care for the speedy sending it away, that the Forces may be forthwith sent to Ireland; and report it to the House To-morrow Morning.
