Prayers.

Sir W. Dick.

Mr. Allen reports from the Commissioners for Compositions with Delinquents, Sir Wm. Dick's Business; and the humble Petition of Robert English, on Behalf of Sir William Dick, and himself, presented to that Committee: Which was this Day read.

Resolved, &c. That this Business be re-committed.

Coinage.

Mr. Attorney General reports Amendments to the Act touching Coin; with a Table containing the Weights of the several Coins of England: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, re-committed, with the Amendments at the Table.

And Mr. Attorney is to take care thereof; and to bring it in on Thursday Morning.

Treason.

Mr. Attorney General reports Amendments to the Act concerning Treasons: Which were assented to; and the Act, so amended, ordered to be ingrossed.

Salt Petre, &c.

Sir William Armyn reports from the Council of State, That the said Council, upon the Dispatch of Provisions for Ireland, finds a great Want of Powder: And it is the Opinion of this Council, That it will not be possible to supply the Necessity of the Commonwealth with Powder, unless the Manufacture of Petre be forthwith set on foot in England; and therefore desire the House to think of some way whereby it may be presently set on work: And that it be reported to the House, as the Opinion of that Council, That the Act for the Sale of the King's Parks, for the Security of the Soldiers Arrears, may be speedily passed, it being of very great Importance to the Service of the Commonwealth; as also that the One hundred thousand Pounds of the Pay of the Soldiers here, who are to go for Ireland, be forthwith provided.

Ordered, That it be referred back to the Council of State, to consider of some fit way for Making and Providing of Petre for the Use of the State; and report their Opinion to the House.

Adjournment.

Ordered, That the House do, at their Rising, adjourn itself to Thursday Morning.

Loan from the City.

Ordered, That the former Committee appointed to treat with the Lord Mayor and Common Council for Advancing of One hundred thousand Pounds, for the present Service of Ireland, be revived: And that they do meet with them, on Thursday next, in the Afternoon.

Ordered, That the Lord Mayor of the City of London, be desired to call a Common Council on Thursday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon: And that Colonel Venne give Notice hereof.

Order of Business.

Ordered, That, after the Act for Sale of the King's Lands and Parks is over, that the Business touching the late King's Servants, and also the Bill for New England, be taken up, in order as it now stands; and nothing to intervene.

Absent Members.

Ordered, That the Committee touching absent Members do make their Report on Friday Morning.

Sale of a Ship.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to make Sale of the Ship called the Hunter Doggerbolt; to the best Advantage of the State.

The House did accordingly adjourn itself until Thursday Morning, Eight of Clock.
