Prayers.

Rainborow's Family.

ORDERED, That on Thursday Morning next, the Ordinances touching Colonel Rainborow, his Wife, and Children, be read.

Hilary Term.

Resolved, &c. That the next Hilary Term be adjourned until Crastino Purificationis next: And that an Ordinance be brought in to that Purpose.

An Act for Adjourning of Hilary Term next, from the Return of Octabis Hil. until Crastino Purificationis next, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be forthwith printed and published: And that the Members of this House do take care for speedy sending it down to the Sheriffs of the respective Counties within the Kingdom of England, and Dominion of Wales.

Navy, &c.

An Act for Regulating of the Officers of the Customhouse and Navy was this Day read the Third time.

And, after the Reading thereof, several Amendments were offered at the Table: Which Amendments were thrice read: And the said Amendments, being put to the Question, were assented unto.

And the said Act, so amended, being put to the Question, passed.

Ordered, That the Clerk of this House do indorse this Act in manner following; viz. "Decimo sexto Januarii 1648; read the Third time; and, upon the Question, Resolved, That it be Enacted for a Law, and have the Force of a Law."

Ordered, That the Title to be prefixed to the said Act shall be in these Words; viz. "An Act of the Commons, in Parliament assembled, touching the Regulating of the Officers of the Navy and Customs."

Ordered, That the Act, intituled, An Act of the Commons, in Parliament assembled, touching the Regulating of the Officers of the Navy and Customs, be forthwith printed and published.

Navy.

Ordered, That Colonel Walton do make his Report touching the Navy, To-morrow Morning, the first Business.

King's Property.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Lord Gray, Mr. Holland, Mr. Love, and Mr. Allen, or any Two of them, to present to the House the Names of such Persons as they shall think fit, for taking an Inventory, and for preserving all the Goods in all the King's several Houses.
