PRAYERS.

Plimouth Garison.

ORDERED, That, To-morrow Morning, the first Business, the Ordinance for providing Monies for Relief of the Garison of Plimouth, be read.

Invalid Soliders.

Ordered, That, To-morrow Morning, Mr. Serjeant Wilde do report the Order for providing Monies for Relief of the sick and wounded Soldiers.

E. of Middlesex's Impeachment.

Articles of the Commons, assembled in Parliament, in Maintenance of their Impeachment against James Earl of Middlesex, whereby he stands charged of High Treason, and other High Crimes and Misdemeanors, were this Day read.

The Reporter began to read the Proofs and Evidences.

Message from Lords.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Edward Leech and Dr. Bennett;

The Lords have commanded us to deliver unto you this Letter: It comes from the King: They desire it may be communicated to the Scotts Commissioners, by the Members of both Houses, that are of the Committee of both Kingdoms. They have returned the Ordinance concerning Tonage and Poundage; which first moved from this House: To which they agree, with some Additions and Alterations herewithal sent; in which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Letter from the King.

The King's Letter was read, and was from Carisbrooke Castle, of 6 Decembris 1647; and directed "To the Speaker of the House of Peers pro tempore; to be communicated to the Lords and Commons, in the Parliament of England, at Westminster, and to the Commissioners of the Parliament of Scotland."

Resolved, &c. That this House doth concur with the Lords, That this Letter from the King may be communicated to the Scotts Commissioners, by the Members of both Houses, that are of the Committee of both Kingdoms.

Tonage and Poundage.

The Alterations and Additions to the Ordinance concerning Tonage and Poundage, were read.

Resolved, &c. That the Alterations and Additions, sent by the Lords, to the Ordinance concerning Tonage and Poundage, be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of the Navy: And they are to state to the House, To-morrow, the Matter of Fact.

Bills to be read.

Ordered, That, To-morrow Morning, the first Business, the Bills lately ordered to be ingrossed, be read.

Answer to Lords.

Answer returned by the same Messengers; That this House has considered their Lordships Message; and do agree, that this Letter from the King be communicated to the Scotts Commissioners, by the Members of both Houses, that are of the Committee of both Kingdoms: To the rest, they will send Answer by Messengers of their own.

Committee of Safety.

The Question being put, That the Ordinance that gives Power to the Committee of Safety, that was made between the Twenty-sixth of July and the Sixth of August last, shall be read;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

So that the Question passed with the Affirmative.

Mountague's Bail.

A Message from the Lords, by Dr.Heath and Mr. Page;

The Lords have thought fit to continue Mr. Walter Mountague's Enlargement upon the same Bail for Six Months longer; And desire the Concurrence of this House therein.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth concur with the Lords, that Mr. Walter Mountague do continue upon his Enlargement, upon the same Bail, for Six Months longer.

Answer returned by the same Messengers; That this House has considered their Lordships Message; and do agree to continue Mr. Walter Mountague's Enlargement, upon the same Bail, for Six Months longer, as is desired.
