Prayers.

Counsel for the Eleven Members.

ORDERED, That Mr. Chute, Mr. Prynne, Mr. Newdigate, Mr. Glover, and Mr. Hales, be assigned to be of Counsel with the Eleven Members charged by the Army.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Bois, being sick and indisposed in Health, have the Leave of this House to go into the Country, for Recovery of Health.

Apprentices Petition.

A Petition, styled, The humble Petition of divers wellaffected young Men, and the Apprentices of the City of London was this Day read.

The Question was propounded, That the Answer to the Petitioners shall be, That the House has divers Matters of this Petition under Consideration; and will take the rest into Consideration in due time:

And the Question being put, That this Question shall be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That the Answer to the Petitioners shall be, That this House has divers Matters of this Petition under Consideration; and will take the rest into Consideration in due time.

Sir Thomas Soame and Mr. Vassall are appointed to acquaint the Petitioners with this Answer.

Message to Lords.

Sir Wm. Allenson carried to the Lords the Message he was appointed to carry Yesterday; and likewise the Order concerning Colonel Ponsonbie's Contract for transporting a Regiment of Horse into Ireland.

Col. Ponsonby.

Mr. Salwey was sent after Sir Wm. Allenson, to fetch back the Order concerning Colonel Ponsonby; the House resuming a further Consideration of this Business.

Answer from Lords.

Sir Wm. Allenson brings Answer, That the Lords do agree to the Order concerning Clifford's Tower; and to the Two Orders for Two thousand Pounds out of Weavers Hall and Goldsmiths Hall to Lieutenant General Massy.

Forces for Ireland.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for the Affairs of Ireland at Derby House, to take care that Cololen Ponsonbie's Regiment of Horse may be speedily transported into Ireland; and that the Monies appointed to be paid unto him, may be so paid as the Committee shall think fit: Who are to take care of doing all Things else in pursuance of the Contract made with him for his speedy Transportation.

Weavers Hall Revenue.

Resolved, &c. That the Treasurers at Weavers Hall do forthwith make a due and perfect Accompt of all Monies as have been received and paid by them: And that they do deliver the State of their Accompts in to the House on Friday Morning next.

Resolved, &c. That no Monies be issued by the Treasurer at Weavers Hall, upon any Order or Ordinance, made for the Payment of any Monies by them, sithence the Ordinance for the Twenty thousand Pounds for the Army until the said Twenty thousand Pounds shall be first paid.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee of the Army, to consider of, and report to the House, the Reason wherefore there is not a Comptrol upon the Receipts and Accompt of the Two hundred thousand Pounds received at Weavers Hall, as well as there was for the former Two hundred Thousand Pounds received upon the Bishops Land.

Irish Affairs.

Ordered, That the Reports concerning Ireland be taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning, peremptorily, the first Business: And that then the Letters from the General be read.

Garisons.

Ordered, That the Report concerning the Garisons be resumed on Friday Morning next, the first Business: And that then the Letters and Petition concerning the Garison of Plymouth be taken into Consideration.

Chairman of Committee.

Resolved, &c. That, in the place of Mr. Bulkley, Mr. John Corbett be appointed to have the Chair in the Committee concerning Members; and in the other Businesses referred to that Committee.

Cheshire.

Ordered, That the Letters concerning Cheshire be read on Friday Morning next.

Officers Petition.

Ordered, That the Petition now tendered, in the Behalf of all the Officers of Sir John Norwich his Lists, be read To-morrow.

Members disabled to fit.

Ordered, That, To-morrow Morning, peremptorily, at Nine of Clock, the House do read, and take into Consideration, the Cases of such Members as were appointed to tender their Cases before Thursday next: And that no other Business whatsoever do then intervene: And that Mr. Speaker do put the House in mind hereof.

Message from Lords.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Edward Leech and Mr. Page;

The Lords have commanded us to return unto you this Ordinance: It is for appointing of a Judge in the Admiralty Court: It moved from you: And they do agree to it; with this Amendment; to which they desire your Concurrence. They have likewise sent you the humble Petition of the Earl of Kildare; which they recommend to your Consideration.

The Amendments to the Ordinance for appointing a Judge of the Admiralty was read; and, upon the Question assented unto.

Resolved, &c. That this House will return Answer to the Petition of George Earl of Kildare by Messengers of their own.

E. of Kildare.

Resolved, &c. That the Petition of George Earl of Kildare be rejected.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Rigby, a Member of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Ordered, That Mr. Samuell Fenick, a Member of this House, shall have Leave to go into the Country.

Countess of Kildore.

Ordered, That the Sum of Two hundred Pounds be provided for the Relief of the Necessities of the Countess of Kildare, and her Children: And that the Committee for Sequestrations, in the Country of Middlesex, do pay the said Two hundred Pounds to the said Countess of Kildare, or such as she shall appoint to receive the same, out of the Monies coming and arising by Sequestrations in the said County of Middlesex.
