Prayers.

Hinton's, &c. Pass.

ORDERED, That Dr. Hinton, and Mr. Chase the Apothecary, have Mr. Speaker's Warrant, with their Servants, to pass unto the Prince; and to return.

Apprehending Whittacre, &c.

Ordered, That Sir John Potts, Sir John Palgrave, and Mr. Miles Corbett, do send unto the Deputy Lieutenants and Committees of Norfolk, to apprehend and secure Dr. Whittacre, and such other Persons as are come, or shall come thither from the Prince, or from the revolted Ships: And that Search be made for all such Persons, in all Places within that City.

Judges to go Circuits.

Resolved, &c. That the Judges be desired to go the Circuits appointed this Vacation (except the Northern Circuit): And that the Chief Justice of Chester be likewise desired to go his Circuit. But Mr. Keble and Mr. Littleton, Justice of the Counties of Anglesey, Carnarvon, and Merioneth, in Wales, are excused from going their Circuit, in respect of the Troubles in those Parts.

Ordered, That it be left to the Judges, to forbear any County or Place of the Circuits, if they shall perceive any eminent Danger, either before their Going, or when they are in their Circuits.

York Gaol Delivery.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Commissioners of the Great Seal, to grant Commissions of Oyer and Terminer, and the Gaol Delivery, in the County of Yorke, and such other Places or Counties as shall be desired by the Persons concerned in such Places or Counties, or shall be thought sitting by the said Commissioners.

The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.

Colonel Lilbourne.

Ordered, That the Lord Carre do make his Report, touching Lieutenant Colonel Lilbourne, on Monday Morning the first Business.

Raising Horses.

Ordered, That the Ordinance, touching raising Horses in the City of London, be heard the Second Business, on Monday Morning next.

Execution of Emerson.

Ordered, That the Sheriff of Kent be summoned to give an Account, at the Bar of this House, Why he doth not execute Thomas Emerson, according to the Judgement given against him.

Sir A. Lostus.

Ordered, That, on Tuesday Morning next, the first Business, the Report, touching Sir Adam Loftus, be taken into Consideration.

Treaty with the King.

According to former Order, the House proceeded to the Consideration of the Votes, delivered at the last Conference with the Lords.

The Question was propounded for Concurring with the Lords in this Vote; viz. "Resolved, That it is agreed, that the King, if he please, may invite the Scotts to send some Persons, authorized by them, to treat upon such Propositions as were tendered to his Majesty by both Kingdoms at Hampton Court, at such time as shall be agreed upon by his Majesty, and the Two Houses of Parliament."

And the Question being put, Whether this Question of Concurrence be now put;

It passed with the Affirmative.

And then the Question being put, For Concurring in the said Vote;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, &c. That, if the King shall think sit to send for any of the Scottish Nation, to advise with him concerning the Affairs of the Kingdom of Scotland only, the Houses will give them a safe Conduct.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree to a proportionable Number of Ten Members of this House, to be Commissioners to treat with the King.

Message to Lords.

Sir Robert Pye carried to the Lords, for their Concurrence, the Votes touching the Judges going the Circuits: The Order for appointing a Committee for the Town and County of Southampton: And the Order touching the Disposing of the Five hundred Pounds for the Garisons.

And he went also with this Message to the Lords; to desire the Lords that are of the Committee of the Revenue, to sit at the said Committee this Afternoon; and to put them in mind touching Major Rolphe.

Committee of Revenue.

Ordered, That the Members of this House that are of the Committee of the Revenue, be enjoined to sit this Afternoon, at the Committee of the Revenue.

Answer from Lords.

Sir Robert Pye brings Answer, That, as to the Orders touching the Judges going the Circuits, and touching Major Rolfe, the Lords will send Answer by Messengers of their own: To all the other Particulars of the Message, the Lords do agree.

Treaty with the King.

Ordered, That the Debate, touching the Residue of the Votes delivered by the Lords at the last Conference concerning the Treaty, be resumed on Monday Morning next, at Eight of Clock, the first Business.
