Prayers.

THE Grand Committee of the whole House, according to former Order, sat, to take into further Consideration the Business of Ireland.

Mr. Ashhurst in the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Upon Mr. Ashurst' Report from the Committee for the Business of Ireland;

It is Ordered, That, on Wednesday next, the first Business, the Ordinance concerning the Assessment for Ireland be read: And that, after the Reading thereof, immediately the Grand Committee of the House do meet, to take into further Consideration the Business of Ireland.

Sir Wm. Armyn reports, from the Committee of both Kingdoms, divers Papers; viz. One of the Seventeenth of December, containing Reasons, presented by the Members of both Houses, to the Scotts Commissioners, Why there should be no Treaty about any Propositions to be sent to the King: A Paper of the Scotts Commissioners of Decembris 18 , in Answer thereunto: A Paper of the Members of both Houses that are of that Committee, of the Nineteenth of December: A Paper of the Scotts Commissioners of the Nineteenth of December: And a Paper of the Scotts Commissioners of the Twentieth of December: ..... were all this Day read. And

It is Ordered, upon the Question, That these Papers be taken into further Consideration on Monday Morning next, the first Business.

It is further Ordered, That these Papers be referred back again to the Members of both Houses that are of the Committee of both Kingdoms, to confer with the Scotts Commissioners upon them, according to their former Order, or to reply, as they shall see Occasion: And are to make Report on Monday Morning next.
