Prayers.

THE Grand Committee, according to a former Order, sat, to take into Consideration the removing and taking away the Obstructions that hinder the putting in Execution the Directions concerning the Electing of Elders; and the Ordinance concerning the keeping from the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper Persons grossly ignorant, or notoriously scandalous.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Edward Leech and Mr. Page;

The Lords have received a Report from the Committee of both Kingdoms: It consists of Two Parts: The first is concerning a Letter from Mr. Strickland; which they think fit to be referred to the Committee of the Admiralty and Cinque-Ports; and desire the Concurrence of the House therein: The other Part concerns the intercepted Letters; and they desire, That the Scotts Commissioners may have Duplicates of all such intercepted Letters and Papers as concern the Scottish Affairs.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Lords, in referring Mr. Strickland's Letter to the Consideration of the Committee of Lords and Commons for the Admiralty and Cinque-Ports.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Lords, That the Scotts Commissioners may have Duplicates of all such intercepted Letters as concern the Scottish Affairs.

Answer returned by the samé Messengers; That this House has considered their Lordships Message; and do agree to both Parts thereof.

Ordered, That the humble Petition of John Davies Merchant be taken into Consideration on Monday Morning next, at the same time when the Irish Business is to be considered of.
