PRAYERS.

Money for Army.

ORDERED, That the Monies, that are deposited Monies in Haberdashers Hall, be, from benceforth, from time to time, brought in to the Treasurers at Guildhall: And that Mr. Gosse do pay all the Monies that are in his Hands, to Mr. Trenchard, for the Use of Sir Wm. Waller, according to former Order: And that the Monies, that are in the Treasury be paid to Mr. Trenchard, for the Use of Sir Wm. Waller, and for no other Use.

Publick Money.

Ordered, That the Committee of this House for Sequestrations do meet this Afternoon, and call Mr. White before them, and know of him the Particulars of the Monies that are in the several Collectors Hands, and in whose Hands they are; and that That Committee make Report of it To-morrow Morning.

Parkhurst's Assessments.

Ordered, That the Case of Mr. Parkhurst, who has voluntarily advanced the full Twentieth Part of his Estate to the Parliament, be recommended to the Committee for Assessments at Haberdashers Hall; to consider of the Sum of . . assessed upon him for his Twentieth Part; and to give him all the Ease that in Justice they can.

Military Affairs.

Message from the Lords, by Sir Rob. Ricke and Mr. Page;

That the Lords had received a Letter from my Lord Willoughbie, which they desire this House to take into Consideration; and to consider what is fit to be done therein.

The Letter from my Lord Willoughby to the Speaker of the House of Peers; and likewise his Letter to my Lord General; concerning his quitting of Boston; were both read: And, upon Consideration thereof, Ordered, That Thirteen hundred Pounds, of the Sequestration Monies, in the County of Norfolk, be forthwith sent to my Lord Willoughby, at Boston, upon Account: And that Five hundred Muskets, of those that are in the Danish Ship, be forthwith sent to Colonel Cromwell: And Colonel Roe is hereby appointed to deliver the said Five hundred Muskets to Sir Christ. Wray, for that Purpose: And that it be particularly and especially recommended to Colonel Cromwell, to have an especial Care of the Safety and Security of Boston; and that what Forces Colonel Cromwell shall send for the Defence of Boston, the Committee for the Associated... will take care to send a Supply of so many, to reinforce his Army: And to that Purpose the Committee for the associated Counties is to meet this Afternoon:

Answer returned by the same Messengers; that this House has considered their Lordships Messages; and will send Answer by Messengers of their own.

Trial of Lady D'Aubigny.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee appointed to examine the late Plot, to consider of some Way for the Trial of the Lady D'Aubigny; and to report it to the House: And it is likewise referred to the same Committee, to remove her, if they shall see Cause, for the Ease of the Woman where now she is.

Essex Forces.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee for the associated Counties, to consider of the Disposal of the Five hundred Horse, and One thousand Dragoons, now raised in the County of Essex; and that they bring in their Report To-morrow Morning.

Thanks to Barrington, &c.

Ordered, That Thanks be returned to Sir Tho. Barrington, for the great Service, and great Care and Pains he has taken, in the raising of One thousand Dragoons, and Five hundred Horse, in the County of Essex: And that he return Thanks, from this House, to the County of Essex, for complying so readily with the Endeavours of Sir Tho. Barrington in the said Service, so necessary, and so much importing the Safety of the Kingdom.

Pass to Van Ost, &c.

Ordered, That Derrick Van Ost, Adam Lawrence, Mawrice Tomson, and Nicholas Corsellus, with their Wives, Children, Servants, and their Baggage, shall have Mr. Speaker's Warrant to imbark themselves at any of his Majesty's Ports within the Kingdom of England, to pass the Sea into Holland; provided no prohibited Goods be transported.

Levying Forces, &c.

Ordered, That my Lord General be desired to grant a Commission to Sir Wm. Waller, to levy Ten Regiments of Foot, and Ten Regiments of Horse; and to be Serjeant Major General, and Commander in chief of those Forces; and to have Power to list them; under Commands, and to place Commands over them; and with such further Power as is usually given in Commissions of the like Nature.

Duncannon Fort.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Navy do forthwith write to the Earl of Warwick, immediately to send away the Ship, formerly designed for the Fort of Galloway, to the Fort of Duncannon, for Relief and Security of that Fort.

Richaut's Sequestration.

Whereas Sir Peter Richaut Knight hath been declared by this House to be a Delinquent within the Ordinance of Sequestration; whereby all his Adventures, by Sea and Land, Debts, Goods, and Chattels, are liable unto Seizure for the Commonwealth: And whereas Serjeant Wilde and Mr. Trenchard, Members of this House, are formerly ordered to raise Five thousand Pounds, for the Payment of the Forces under the Command of Sir Wm. Waller: It is this Day Ordered, by the Commons assembled in Parliament; That the said Serjeant Wilde and Mr. Trenchard shall have Power, and are hereby required to sequester and seize, or cause to be sequestred and seized, to the Use of Sir Wm. Waller, for the said Service, and to sell, and compound for, all such Goods, Adventures, or any other Debts, as shall be discovered to belong unto the said Sir Peter Richaut; and to receive and pay the Monies thereupon arising to the Uses aforesaid: And that, for their so doing, they, and all those that shall contract and deal with them, or pay Monies in lieu thereof, shall be saved harmless, and kept indemnified, by the Authority of this House.

Associated Counties.

An Ordinance for the establishing of Committees for the Six associated Counties, and for establishing a settled Committee out of them, to sit constantly at Cambridge; with such Instructions as were annexed to the said Ordinance; were all this Day read; and, by Vote upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords To-morrow Morning.
