PRAYERS.

Bossinny Election.

THE Case of Bossinny, and every Circumstance of it, is referred to the Committee for Privileges; and, because it was alledged it would be determined upon the bare View of the Indentures, it was moved, it might be forthwith considered of.

Member not to sit.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Sir Christopher Yelverton shall forbear to sit as a Member in this House, till his Election be determined.

Hatfield Manor.

1^a vice lecta Billa, An Act for the Confirmation of the Copyhold Estates of the Tenants of Fish-lake, and Sike Howse, and the Manor of Hatfield, in the County of Yorke.

Ordered, That the Bill concerning the Tenants of Fish-lake, and Sike Howse, be no more read, till the House shall give farther Order in it.

Businesses depending.

Upon Sir Jo. Hotham's Report from the Committee, appointed to present what Businesses of greatest Importance were fit to be first treated on;

It was Resolved, upon the Question, That the several Committees contained in a Paper by Sir Jo. Hotham presented, and thus reported, shall continue; and all other Committees, and Sub-committees, after this present Day, shall cease, until this House shall take farther Order:

Those that are to continue are these; viz.

The Committee-

For the Earl of Straford's Business;

For the Lord of Cant', and the New Canons;

For the Lord Keeper and the Judges;

For Secretary Windebank, and the Recusants;

For the Bishop of Bath and Welles;

For the Bishop of Elye,-

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Committee for Privileges shall be restrained to sit only on Thursdays.-

The Committee for the Breach of the Privileges of the House and Members of Parliament; because from thence will arise some Things, that concern the Charges against the Lord Keeper and the Judges, as also the Star-chamber and Council-table;

The Committee for the Jurisdiction of the Star-chamber and High Commission Courts;-

And it was Resolved, upon the Question, That this Committee shall have Power given them, to take into their Consideration the undue Proceedings of the Council-table.-

The Committee of the Twenty-four for the general Remonstrance;

The Committee for the King's Army, and the North Parts;

The Committee for the Court of Honour; to have only Wednesday next;

The Committee for Ship-money, and the rigorous Levying of it;

The Committee for the Abuse of Lord Lieutenants and Deputy Lieutenants, and for preparing a Bill for the Rating and Regulating of Arms, and for Abuse of levying Coat and Conduct Money;-

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Committee for the Town of Waymouth shall be restrained to the Consideration of Salt, Leather, and Soap only.-

The Committee for the Bill of frequent holding of Parliaments;

The Five Grand Committees, viz.

For Religion, Trade, Irish Affairs, Grievances and Courts of Justice.

Resolved, upon the Question, That no more Subcommittees be made from the Grand Committees; and that those that are already made shall cease for a time, till the House shall farther order it.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Grand Committee for Religion shall have Power given them to take into Consideration the Ecclesiastical Courts, and the Government of the Church, as it is now exercised.-

It was likewise moved from the Committee, That the Grand Committee do first proceed with the Businesses of most publick Concernment; especially with such as conduce to the Charges in hand.

It was likewise moved from the Committee, That the Reporters would first make Report of those Businesses, that are most publick, and concern the Charges in hand.

It was likewise moved, That whensoever the King's Revenue, and the Necessities of the Navy, shall come into Consideration, whether in the House, or at a Committee, That Business to proceed.

Wallop's, &c. Petitions.

Ordered, That the several Petitions of Sir H. Wallop, the Ld. Viscount Nettersfield, Faes, and Lommock, be referred to the Sub-committee, formerly appointed by the Grand Committee, for Irish Affairs, for the Business of Sir H. Wallop; because there is something in those Petitions, that will materially conduce to the Charge of the Earl of Straford.

Lord Montnorris, &c.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to prepare some fit Way of representing to the Lords the Four Irish Causes formerly reported here, viz. that of the Lord Montnorris, the Lord Dillon, Lord Viscount Eely, and the Earl of Kildare, do sit.

Star-chamber.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to consider of the Jurisdiction of the Star-chamber shall take into Consideration the Proclamations.

Recusants.

Ordered, That the Committee for Recusants, now sine die, shall meet on Thursday next in the Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Duchy-chamber.

Abp. of Canterbury.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Lord of Cant' do meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the wonted Place.

Committees.

Ordered, That the Chairmen of the several Committees shall every day set up Notes, where they are to sit.

Customers to attend.

Ordered, That the Customers for the last Year, this present Year, and the next Year, be required, this Afternoon, to attend the Committee Yesterday appointed, to consider of some fit and speedy Way for providing Money for the King's Army.

Arrears of Customs, &c.

Ordered, That Mr. Toomes, Surveyor General of the Customs, be required to attend the same Committee; with a perfect Account of what is in Arrear in the Collectors of the Impositions Hands, due to his Majesty, And it is farther ordered, That Sir H. Garraway, Sir Nich. Crisp, Sir Tho. Dawes, and Mr. Edw. Abbott, be required to attend the said Committee at the same time.

Sir H. Vane, and Sir Ro. Pye, are added to this Committee.

The Court of Wards to be left free for this Committee.

Treaty with Scotland.

A Message from the Lords, by J. Reeve and J. Foster;

The Lords have sent us to you with this Message; they desire a present Conference by a Committee of both Houses, touching the great Business of the Treaty between both the Kingdoms; and This to be presently, if it may stand with the Conveniency of this House.

Answer returned by the same Messengers;

This House has taken into Consideration the Message of their Lordships; and will give a present Meeting, by a Committee of the whole House, as is desired.
