Weaving Trade.
2da vice lecta est Billa. An Act for preventing the Abuses used in the Trade of Weaving-: Upon Question, committed unto the Committee for Monopolies: And they are to meet upon it, when the House meets next, after the next Recess.
Mr. Cage and Sir Richard Buller are added to this Committee.
Impeachments of the Judges.
That those Gentlemen, to whom the Transmission is, shall desire the Lords, that the Judges may make Answer to their several Impeachments.
Star-chamber.
3a vice lecta, The Amendments and Provisoes to the Star-chamber Bill were read in the ingrossed Copy; and, upon the Question, assented unto.
High Commission Court.

Provision of Monies.

Mr.Capell carried up these Bills to the Lords: And he was likewise required to desire the Lords* * *
Payments to Scotland.
Ordered, That the Earl of Warwicke shall have Liberty to pay unto the Commissioners for the Scotts a Month's Pay, out of those Monies that shall come to his Hands:
And that the Clerk deliver unto Mr. Pym Copies of all the Orders, upon which the Earl of Warwicke has lormerly paid Monies unto the Scotts; to be delivered unto the Committee appointed to draw Discharges for such Monies.
Judges not to travel on Lord's Day.
Ordered, That Mr. Crewe and Mr. Littleton do repair to the Lord Keeper; and desire him, from this House, to desire the Judges, in their several Circuits, so to dispose of their Journies, that they may not travel on the Lord's Day; for the ill Example that is given to the Country thereby.
Billet-money.
Ordered, That Auditor Hill, and Auditor Brinley, be required from this House, to audit the Accompts for Monies due for Billet to the Counties of Yorke, Northumberland, Newcastle, Bishoprick of Durham, Nottingham, and Lincolne; and to make Briefs of the Accounts; and to present the Briefs, and the Sums due to each several County, in such a Form and Method to this House, that may be readiest for their Consideration.
Impeachment of the Judges.
Lord Wenman is appointed to go up to the Lords, to desire a Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, concerning the Articles of Impeachment to be transmitted against several of the Judges.
Answer from Lords.
Mr. Capell brings Answer, that, according to the Command of this House, he had delivered the Three Bills to the Lords; with the Message, to desire their Lordships, in the Name of both Houses, to move his Majesty to give his Royal Assent unto them all Three: "And their Lordships returned me this Answer; that they had sent some Lords to the King, to that Purpose."
Charge against Windebancke.
Ordered, That the Committee for Secretary Windebancke shall meet on Monday in the Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Duchy-court; to prepare the Charge against Secretary Windebancke: And the Lawyers of that Committee are especially required to attend that Committee.
Collectors of Poll-money.

This Committee is to consider what Allowances, and to whom any Allowances, shall be made for their Pains employed concerning the Monies to be collected by virtue of an Act, intituled, An Act for the speedy Provision of Monies &c.
Sheriffs and Judges.
They are likewise to consider what Monies have been paid by Collectors, for passing their Accounts of the last Subsidies, in the several Offices here at Westminster; and to consider of the Propositions that have been here made, concerning the great Entertainments of Sheriffs given to the Judges; and the Exactions of their Servants; and of the Presents that are given to the Judges, by the Sheriffs, or any other; and to present a Declaration to the House.
Places where the King passes.
Monday Morning for the Regulating of these several great Misdemeanours: And they are likewise to consider of the great Sums, that are demanded, and paid by the several Places, where the King at any time passes, and are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of Clock, in the Court of Wards.
Royal Assent to Bills.
A Message from the Lords, by Mr. Attorney and Mr. Serjeant Finch;
The Lords commanded this Message to be sent in Writing.
(Which was first read by Mr. Attorney; and then delivered in to Mr. Speaker, in hoc Verba;)
"The King hath been moved, upon the Desire of both Houses, by some Lords, for his Royal Assent unto the Three Bills sent up this Morning."
"That his Majesty will come this Morning, and give his Royal Assent unto the Bill which concerns Raising of Monies for disbanding the Armies, for the present Ease of the Kingdom: That, in regard his Majesty hath not been acquainted with the Particulars of the other Two Bills, he will advise of them until Tuesday next; and then will give his Answer."
Answer returned by the same Messengers; that this House has taken into Consideration their Lordships Message; and will forthwith send Answer by Messengers of their own.
Lord Falkland is appointed to go to the Lords with this Message;
To acquaint their Lordships, that this House has taken into Consideration their Lordships Message; and do conceive, that the Passing of the Two Bills, concerning the Star-chamber, and High Commission, will . . . much Expedition to the Levying of Monies, appointed to be raised by the Act for raising of Monies for disbanding the Armies &c.: And therefore to desire their Lordships, that his Majesty may be moved to give Royal Assent to them all three Together, with all convenient Speed.
He is likewise to acquaint their Lordships, that this House intends to sit this Afternoon; and to desire their Lordships, that they would be pleased to do the like, if it may stand with their Conveniency.

Mr. Peirpoint, Mr. Waller, Mr. Crue, and Mr. Hide, formerly appointed to carry up the Articles of Impeachment against the Judges, do desire, for their Assistance in reading the several Charges, in regard of their Length, Lord Falkland, Mr. Newport, Mr. Gerrard.
Answer from Lords.
Lord Falkland brings Answer, that the Lords had taken into Consideration the Message from this House: That they would this Day move his Majesty, that he would be pleased to give his Royal Assent to all the Three Bills together: And that they would sit this Afternoon at Three of Clock.
