PRAYERS.
Bp. of Bath and Wells.
ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bishop of Bath and Wells shall meet on Friday at Two post meridiem, in the Duchy-court: And that That Committee shall sit, notwithstanding that the House should then sit: And that Mr. * Cause be transmitted some Day the next Week.
Bp. of Elye.
Ordered, That the Report of the Bishop of Elye's Business shall be reported on Saturday Morning next.
Recusants Estates.
Mr. Rigby reports the Bill for the better Regulating of Two Parts of Recusants Lands, liable to Seizure for their Recusancy, together with the Amendments and Additions: The which Amendments and Additions were twice read; and reported by Mr. Speaker; and then, upon Question, ordered to be ingrossed.
Recusants Forfeitures.
Ordered, That the Auditors and Receivers, concerning the Revenues of his Majesty growing and renewing by the forfeitures of Popish Recusants, do bring their Patents, to be considered of by this House.
Leave of Absence, &c.
Mr. Sutton has Leave to go into the Country: But he, and all other Members of this House, are enjoined to pay their Proportion (according to their Degrees) of the Poll-money, rated by the Bill.
Mr. Harrison has Leave to go into the Country, paying the Poll-money.
Stannaries.
That the ingrossed Bill of Stannaries shall be read, so soon as the Business concerning the Star-chamber, and High Commission, shall be read.
Star-chamber, &c. Courts.
The Order, made Yesterday, for resuming the Consideration of the Bills concerning the Star-chamber, and High Commission, was read:
And the House accordingly proceeded with the Amendments to those Bills, returned from the Lords, and the Committee.-
Killigrewe's Petition.
Moved, that the Consideration of Sir Wm. Killigrewe's Petition may be resumed, so soon as the Consideration concerning the Star-chamber, and High Commission, shall be finished.
Pollard's Petition.
Moved also, that Captain Pollard's Petition be then resumed, to consider of.-

The Sixth Addition and Amendment was put to the Question; and assented unto.-
Lords to sit.
Sir Edmund Verney, is appointed to go to the Lords, to acquaint their Lordships, that this House, upon some urgent Occasions, shall sit this Afternoon; and desire, that their Lordships would be pleased to do the like.-
Star-chamber, &c. Courts.
- Seventh Addition to the Clause concerning being questioned in Parliament is assented unto to be quite left out.
The Eighth Addition of the Lords, with the Omission of the Word " Order," in the Fourth and Sixth Lines, is assented unto.
The Ninth Amendment of the Lords is assented unto.
The Tenth Amendment of the Lords is assented unto.
The Eleventh Amendment, concerning the Word " Sheriff," is assented unto, to be inserted in all the Places of the Bill, where it is desired.
The Twelfth Amendment is assented unto, with the Addition of these Words, " by his own Bond."
This Amendment is assented unto, " within Three Court Days, after Return * * Court."
The Sixteenth Addition is assented unto, with the Omission of these Words, " as the Judges of that Court, in their Consciences and Judgment, shall hold to be just."
The Seventeenth Addition, of these Words, " otherwise wilfully done, or omitted to be," is assented to.
The Proviso is assented unto, with the Amendments from the Committee.-

Sir Edmund Verney brings Answer, that the Lords will sit this Afternoon, as is desired.
Provision of Monies.
A Message from the Lords, by Serjeant Whitfeild and * * .
The Lords desire if it may stand with the Conveniency of this House, that they may have a present free Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, concerning the Bill for the speedy Provision of Monies, for disbanding the Armies, and settling the Peace of the Kingdoms.-

Resolved, upon the Question, That the Court of the Duchy of Lancaster, and the Court of Exchequer in the County Palatine of Chester, be particularly nominated in the last Proviso.-

This House has taken their Lordships Message into Consideration; and will give a present Meeting, as is desired.

High Commission Court.
Ordered, That the House meet this Afternoon at Two of Clock, to consider of the Amendments to the Bill concerning the High Commission.
Post Meridiem
Bailing a Prisoner.
THAT Oliver Baker, now Prisoner in the Fleet, who has a Petition depending here, shall have Liberty to go into the Country, till the next Meeting of the Parliament, after the next Session, or Recess; provided that the said Baker do put in good and sufficient Bail to the Warden of the Fleet, for his true Imprisonment.
O Rody's Petition.
Ordered, That Teigo O Rody, who has his Petition, by Order from this House, recommended to the Parlíament in Ireland; it is now further Ordered, That if the Parliament shall be risen, before his Petition come thither, that then it shall be recommended to the Chancery; to be there proceeded in with Effect, for the Relief of the Parties concerned.

According to an Order made this Forenoon, the House proceeded to the Consideration of the Amendments, returned from the Lords, to the Bill concerning the High Commission.
Resolved, upon the Question, That the First Clause of the Proviso, returned from the Lords, to the Bill concerning the High Commission, shall not be admitted:
That the last Clause of the Proviso, returned from the Lords, to the Bill concerning the High Commission, shall be assented unto.
Sir Walter Erle went up to the Lords with a Message, to desire a free Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, so soon as it shall stand with their Lordships Conveniency, concerning the Two Bills of the High Commission and Star-chamber, returned from their Lordships on Saturday last post meridiem.-
Bailing a Prisoner.
The humble Petition of Hugh Pollard Esquire was this Day read: And, upon Reading of it, it was
Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Pollard shall be bailed in this Manner: That Mr. Speaker shall send his Warrant to the Keeper of the Gate-house, requiring him to deliver, into the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House, Hugh Pollard Esquire, now his Prisoner by Order of this House: And that the Serjeant shall take Bond from himself, and the Parties mentioned in the Petition, upon the Penalty of Ten thousand Pounds the Principal, and Five thousand Pounds apiece the Sureties, for his Appearance here again on Monday come Three Weeks: And that he shall attend the Committee of Seven To-morrow Morning.-

Mr. Glyn, Sir Wm. Litton, Sir Edw. Deeringe, Sir Antho. Irby, shall have Liberty to go to Thomas Phillipps, who lies very sick, and cannot come to the Committee, to examine him in the Cause depending before a Committee of this House, between Mr. Ashburnham, a Member of this House, and Mr. Walter Longe: And he is to be examined in the Presence of both Parties: And the Committee is not to proceed with the Business, until this Witness shall be examined.
