Mr. Lisle, reports the Bill of Tonage and Poundage; with the Amendments, Additions, and Alterations: The which were all twice read: The Bill was re-committed to this Committee following; to consider of some Amendments and Additions to the temporary Bill of Tonage and Poundage;

Bringing in Plate, &c.

It is referred to the Committee appointed to treat with such Persons as they shall think fit, for the Lending of Monies, to consider of some Way for the Bringing in of the Plate of the Kingdom; and for the speedy Melting and Coining of it; and all other Circumstances concerning this Business, that occurred upon this Day's Debate; and

2°-3° Funii. to prepare a Bill upon the whole Matter; and to present it to the House: And they are likewise to consider of some Way for preserving of Coin in the Kingdom: And have Power to send for the Masters and Officers of the Mint, and such other Persons as they shall think fit: And all, that will come, are to have Voices at this Committee: And they are to meet To-morrow Morning at Six of Clock, in the Star-chamber.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Grant of the Subsidy of Tonage and Poundage shall be granted to certain Commissioners, to the Use of our Sovereign Lord the King.
