PRAYERS.

Leave of Absence.

RESOLVED, upon the Question, That Sir Jo. Pawlet shall have Leave to go into the Country, and to stay there for a Fortnight.

Persons committed.

Ordered, That Newton, Mayo, &c. committed to the Gatehouse, by a former Order of this House, be taken into the Serjeant's Custody; and from him forthwith to be turned over to the Gatehouse.

Abfent Members.

That the Names of those Members that were absent, and taken on Saturday last, shall be referred to the Committee formerly appointed to consider of such as have been long, and are, absent: And they are to make Report on Wednesday next.

Members summoned.

Ordered, That Mr. Endymion Porter and Mr. Ashburneham be forthwith summoned to attend the Service of the House.

The like was moved concerning Mr. Jervase Holles.

Message to Lords.

Mr. Pierrepoint, according to the Order on Saturday, carried up Draughts of the Commissions to the Colonels and Captains of Horse and Foot, which were formerly sent from the Lords.

He likewise carried up the Two Resolutions; 1. Concerning the Magazine at Hull; 2. Concerning Sir Jo. Hotham.

Declaration of Parliament.

Mr. Pym reports the Declaration in Answer to his Majesty's Declaration.

King's Message, &c. to be sent to Scotland.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of this House shall desire the Scotts Commissioners to send the Message of his Majesty, concerning his Intentions of going into Ireland; and the Petition of both Houses, in Answer to that Message; and the Resolutions thereupon; to the Council in Scotland.

Answer from Lords.

Mr. Pierrepoint reports; That the Lords will issue out their Commissions to the Colonels and Captains forthwith: And as for the other Resolutions concerning Hull and Sir Jo. Hotham, they will send Answer by Messengers of their own.

Message to Lords.

Mr. Long is appointed to carry up to the Lords, the Propositions made to this House, concerning the Setting forth of Ships, for Hindrance of any Supplies to come to Ireland; and likewise an Order for the Payment of Six thousand Pounds, by the Merchant Adventurers to Mr. Loftus for the Relief of Munster; to desire their Lordships Concurrence therein.

Votes concerning Hull.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Edw. Leech and Dr. Bcnnett;

The Lords having received this Day Two Votes from this House concerning Hull; in the latter of these they do agree in all Points; and to the former likewise, with the Leaving out of a few Words, viz. "In case any Person or Persons shall resist, or make Interruption in the Execution of this Order; then."

Resolved, upon the Question, That this House doth assent to this Amendment; and do order, that these Words should be struck out of the said Vote.

Declaration of Parliament.

Ordered, That this Declaration, now presented by Mr. Pym, shall be resumed To-morrow Morning, at Eight of Clock peremptorily.

Supply to Munster.

Ordered, That the Treasurers appointed by the Act to receive the Monies that come in upon the Act for the Adventurers for Ireland, do forthwith pay Six thousand Pounds to Mr. Loftus, Deputy Treasurer at Wars; to be sent over by him in Specie into Munster, for the Supply of that Province: And his Acquittance shall be a sufficient Discharge for the same.

One per Cent: Duty.

Ordered, That the Committee for the One per Cent. do meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Exchequer Chamber; and so from time to time as they shall see Cause.

Col. Huncks, &c.

Mr. Darley, Mr. Hotham, Mr. Hollis, Sir Antho. Irby, Mr. Hatcher, Sir Arth Ingram, Sir H. Anderson, Sir Wm. Uvedale, are appointed to receive the Demands made by the Inhabitants of North Allerton, concerning Colonel Huncks; and to report the State of them to this House: And are to meet this Afternoon, at Five of Clock, in the Court of Wards: And have Power to send for Parties, Witnesses, Papers, Records, &c.

Ordered, That it be recommended to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, to give Warrant, that Colonel Cromwell and Colonel Huncks may have their Half-pay, from the Time that they were listed.

Warrant to Hill.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Colonel Hill shall have a Warrant, under Mr. Speaker's Hand, to transport himself and One Servant into France, with his Baggage; provided that the Searchers take due Care, that he transport no prohibited Commodities.

Letter-office.

Resolved, &c. That the Order made the Ninth of April, concerning the Second Reading of the Bill touching the Letter-office shall be vacated.

Deering's Impeachment.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Sir Edw. Deering shall be impeached.

Ordered, That Mr. Serjeant Wilde and Sir Ro. Coke do prepare the Impeachment of Sir Edw. Deering, and bring it in To-morrow Morning.

Apprehending Benson, &c.

That an Order may be sent to the Justices near adjoining to the Habitations of Thomas and Jo. Deerclove, who rescued Benson, that was apprehended by a Warrant from this House, requiring them to seize and apprehend the said Benson and Deereloves; and to send them to this House in Custody.

Examinations referred.

Ordered, That the Examinations taken by Justice Reeve, be referred to the Committee for Informations.

Letter, &c. referred.

Ordered, That the Letter and Pacquet, presented to Mr. Speaker, brought by Two Dutchmen, be referred to the Consideration of Sir Walth. Erle and Mr. Purefrey.
