Coningsby's Estate.

2da vice lecta est Billa, AN Act for the Settlement, by Fitzwilliam Coningsby Esquire, of Two hundred Pounds per Annum, upon an Hospital in the Suburbs of the City of Hereford, founded by Sir Tho. Coningsbye; and for the new Settling of the Estate of the said Fitzwilliam Coningshy; upon Question committed unto Sir Robert Harley, Mr. Tomkins, Serjeant Euers, Mr. Kirle, Mr. Whitehead, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Mr. Glyn, Mr. Maynard, Sir Sidney Mountague, Mr. Seaborne, Captain Ashburnham, Sir Nevill Poole, Mr. Sandys, Mr. Fitz williams, Mr. Lisle, Mr. Perd, Mr. Moore, Mr. Jones: (Notice to be sent to the Parties interested, and to the Friends of the Children: And to take care, that the Title of the Lands, desired to be settled by this Bill, is good:)

The Knights and Burgesses of Worcestershire, the Burgesses of Herefordshire: And are to meet this Day Fortnight at Two post meridiem, in the Court of Wards.

Mansell's Case.

Resolved, upon the Question, That there shall be no Question put, upon the Case, that concerns Sir Robert Mansell.

Lessening Committees.

Ordered, That the Committee for lessening Committees meet this Afternoon, in the Exchequer-chamber, at Two of Clock; And all, that will come, are to have Voices at this Committee.

Clerk of the Market.

Mr. Heblethwayte reports the Bill concerning the Clerk of the Market, with the Amendments; the which Amendments were twice read; and, upon Question recommitted to the same Committee: To meet on Tuesday next at Two post meridiem, in the Exchequer: And that the King's Counsel may be then heard at the Committee, if they come.

Vintners.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Vintners do meet To-morrow at Two post meridiem, in the Treasury-chamber: And the Serjeant bring Alderman Abell and Mr. Kilvert thither.

Loans.

Mr. Treasurer reports from the Committee to treat concerning the Lending of Monies;

Seven hundred Seventy-three thousand Nine hundred Pounds, the total Sum of the Debt of the Kingdom:

120,000 l. Offered a Proposition from the Merchant

150,000 l. Adventurers, which was read; and after

50,000 l. some Debate, it was

Resolved, upon the Question, That this Offer of the Merchant Adventurers, with the several Explanations of it made by the Reporter, shall be accepted.

Appropriation of Money.

Whereas Thirty thousand Pounds was formerly ordered to be paid into the Hands of the Earl of Warwicke, for the Relief of the Northern Counties; the House doth now declare, that they intend that Four thousand Pounds of that Thirty should go towards the Shipping.

Tonage and Poundage.

Ordered, That the Bill of Tonage and Poundage shall be proceeded in, this Afternoon, at a Committee of the whole House.

Customers.

Ordered, That the Votes presented from the Committee for the Customers be considered of after the Bill of Tonage and Poundage.

Farmers.

Ordered, That the Committee for the Farmers sit this Afternoon at Two of Clock, in the usual Place.

Byerley's Estate.

1^a vice lecta est Billa, AN Act for the Settling of the Manor of Bellgrave, and other Lands, in the County of Leicester, to and upon Wm. Byerley Esquire, his Heirs and Assigns, for and towards Payment of the Debts of Wm. Davenport Esquire deceased.

Bailing Smith.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Smith shall be bailed:

It was declared to be in this manner: That he shall be brought to the Bar, and delivered into the Custody of the Serjeant; and propose his Bail to the House: And, if it shall be allowed, then the Serjeant is to take Bail of him.

London Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker shall issue forth his Warrant, directed to the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery, for a new Writ, for Electing of another Burgess to serve for the City of London, in the Stead of Mr. Craddocke, formerly chosen to serve for the City of London, and since deceased.

Tonage and Poundage.

Mr. Solicitor reports the Bill of Tonage and Poundage, from the particular Committee appointed to prepare a Preamble to the Bill, and some other Additions: The which were twice read; and, upon the Question, committed together with the Bill, to a Committee of the whole House:

And accordingly the House was resolved into a Committee.
