PRAYERS.

Woodmongers, &c.

1^a vice lecta AN Act for the Regulating of the Company of Woodmongers; and for the Relief of the Carmen, Members of the said Company of Woodmongers, against certain Decrees and Orders in the Court of Star-chamber.

Molton Common Marsh.

2da vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Confirmation of certain Letters Patents, made by our late Sovereign King James, to Thomas Welbye and others, of a certain Marsh, commonly called Molton Common; upon Question, committed unto the Committee for Sutton Marsh.

This Committee is not to report the Bill, till the Parties concerned in it have been fully heard.

Court of York.

Lord Falkland went up to the Lords with this Message;

To desire a Conference with their Lordships, by a Committee of both Houses, concerning the Court of the President and Council in the North.

Mr. Hide to manage this Conference, and Mr. Cholmeley to assist him.

Stannaries.

Mr. Maynard reports the Bill concerning the Stannaries: The Amendments, Alterations, and Provisoes, were all twice read: and, upon Question, the Bill, with the Amendments, ordered to be ingrossed.

Mr. Maynard hath this Bill delivered him this Day; promising to have it ingrossed, and to return it.

Conference.

Lord Falkland brings Answer, that the Lords are ready set, and do expect the Committee of this House.

London Petition.

A Message from the Lords, by J. Reeve and J. Heath;

That they are ready for a Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, touching the Petition presented from London; for which this House sent a Message on Saturday last.

Answer returned by the same Messengers;

This House has taken their Lordships Message into Consideration; and will give a Meeting presently, as is desired.

According to an Order on Saturday, Mr. Glynne and Mr. Hill went up to manage this Conference.

Sir Walter Erle is to manage Mr. Pim's Part, in respect of his Absence at this time.

Exception to a Member's Words.

Great Offence was taken by this House, at Words spoken by Mr. Jervaise Hollis, in a Speech concerning the Scotts Propositions; saying, "That some of them were dishonourable; and that this House hath not only entertained them half way, but embraced them."

Mr. Hollis was first heard, to explain himself; and then commanded to withdraw.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Gervaise Hollis, a Member of this House, shall be called to the Bar, for the Offence he hath given this House, by Words spoken by him this Day.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Gervaise Hollis shall be forthwith suspended this House, during this Session of Parliament.

He was accordingly called to the Bar; and, there kneeling, Mr. Speaker pronounced this Sentence against him; that for his Offence he was adjudged to be called to the Bar; and is, by Sentence of this House, suspended from this House during this Session of Parliament.

Star-chamber.

The Committee for the Star-chamber is to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Court of Wards.

Army, &c. Committees.

The Order made on Saturday, concerning the Disbanding of the Armies, &c. revived, for To-morrow.

Ordered, That all Committees for publick Bills be revived; to sit this Afternoon, in their usual Places.
