ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bishop of Bath and Welles do sit this Afternoon, in the Exchequer-chamber, at Two of Clock; and have Power to send for Parties, Witnesses, Papers, Records.

Ordered, That the Committees for publick Bills, and the Committee for Trade, do meet this Afternoon, in their usual Places.
Marquis of Winton's Estates.
3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to enable the Marquis of Winton to grant Estates for Three Lives, or One-and twenty Years, of Lands in the Country of Southampton; upon Question, passed.
Committees.
Ordered, That the Committees for licensing the Printing of Books, and for the Lady of Exeter's Bill, do meet this Afternoon, in their usual Places.
Loan from the City.
Ordered, That the Chamberlain of London shall have Power to receive all such Monies as shall be brought in by any of the Citizens of London; and that the Monies that shall be so brought in, by virtue of this Order, shall be secured out of the Remainder of the Four First Subsidies, after the Monies already ordered to be secured out of those Subsidies shall first be satisfied; forasmuch as that Security will extend to the rest to be secured out of the Two Subsidies now last granted: And that Acquittances, under the Chamberlain's Hand, to such as shall bring in any Monies . . . . .
Privilege- Publication of Proceedings.
Ordered, That the Master and Wardens of the Company of Stationers be required to attend this House presently; and that forthwith they make Search and Inquiry after the Printer and Venter of a Speech they term Mr. Maynard's; the which Speech Mr. Maynard absolutely disavows; and that they use all Diligence in suppressing the said Speech.
Army Affairs.
Upon Sir Jo. Hotham's Report from the Committee for the King's Army, it was
Resolved, upon the Question, That 'tis the Opinion of this House, that, during this Session of Parliament, neither the King's Army, nor any of the Trained Bands of Yorkeshire, shall march or advance, without special Order of his Majesty, with the Advice and Consent of both Houses of Parliament; except in case the Scotish Army shall pass the Limits appointed by the Treaty; or except it be to resist any actual or sudden Invasion, which shall be made by any foreign Enemy, or to oppose such as shall presume to attempt any thing contrary to this Declaration: And in case any shall dare to assemble, in warlike Manner, contrary to this Declaration, the Opinion of this House is, that all Persons so offending shall be accounted and taken for Enemies to the King and State; saving, in case that the Scots do draw their Forces together, then the Drawing the King's Army into One or more Bodies shall be accounted no Breach of this Declaration.
Resolved, upon the Question, That this shall be One Head of a Conference to be desired with the Lords, concerning the Armies.
Navy.
A Message from the Lords, by Baron Henden and J. Heath;
The Lords desire a Conference, by a Committee of both Houses, presently, if it may stand with the Conveniency of this House, in the Painted Chamber, about the Setting forth of the Navy.
Answer returned, by the same Messengers;
This House has taken their Lordships Message into Consideration; and will give a Meeting, by a Committee of the whole House, presently, as is desired.
Debate to be resumed.
Ordered, That so soon as the Committee shall return from the Conference, the House shall resumed the Debate of the Report now made by Sir Jo. Hotham.
Conference.
Mr. Treasurer, Mr. Hollis, Mr. Nath. Fines, Mr. Hyde, Sir H. Vane, Sir Walth. Erle, are appointed Reporters of this Conference.
Army Pay.
Ordered, That the Eleven Days Pay, due to the Earl of Craford's Troop, shall be paid out of the first Monies that shall come in; and that the Lord General grant his Warrant accordingly.
House to sit.
Ordered, That the House shall sit this Afternoon, at Two of Clock.

Court of Yorke.
ORDERED, That the Report concerning the Proceedings of the Court of Yorke shall be made on Thursday next.
Leave of Absence.
Sir Sydney Mountague and Mr. Hunt have Leave to into the Country for some convenient Time.
Customs.
Ordered, That no Man shall presume to take Tobaccoes, or other Goods, out of any Warehouse, seized or deposited for Customs or Depositions, without giving such Security as this House shall allow of, to stand to such Order therein as this House shall appoint: And for those that have already taken their Tobaccoes, or any other Goods, out of any Warehouse, so seized or deposited as aforesaid, it is referred to the Committee for the Customers, to consider of and examine the whole Business; and to report the State of it to the House.
Deane Forest.
Ordered, That the Instructions for the Commissions concerning the Forest of Deane shall be taken into Consideration at the next Sitting of the House.

A Message from Lords, by the Master of the Rolls and J. Heath.
The Lords sent them to signify unto this House, that the Lord Mayor and some of the Aldermen attend, concerning the Business of the Monies; and their Lordships desire, that the Committee of this House of Sixteen may meet the Committee of the Lords, in the Painted Chamber.-
Earl of Straford's Petition.
The humble Petition of Tho. Earl of Straford was this Day read; and the same Order made upon it as upon that of the 20th of March.-
Answer to Lords.
Answer returned, by the same Messengers; that the House has taken into Consideration their Lordships Message; and have resolved, that the Committee of Sixteen shall meet the Committee of the Lords presently, as is desired.
