ORDERED, That Sir John Barker have Leave to go into the Country for a Fortnight, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Bankrupts Estates.

A Bill for the better Recovery of Bankrupts Estates, and for the more equal Distribution thereof, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed, upon the Debate of the House, to Sir Chr. Musgrave, Sir Jerv. Elwes, Mr. Price, Colonel Perry, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. Cook, Mr. Slater, Mr. Blofeild, Mr. Serjeant Wogan, Mr. Thornhaugh, Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Lassells, Mr. Harcourt, Mr. Bromley, Mr. Lloyd, Sir Eliab Harvey, Sir William York, Mr. Beddingfeild, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Vaughan, Sir Walt. Young, Colonel Goldwell, Mr. Christy, Sir Fra. Guibon, Sir Fra. Drake, Mr. Travers, Mr. Clark, Sir Robert Clayton, Mr. Piggott, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Waller, Mr. How, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Gilbert, Sir Cha. Merchants Insurers Creditors.

Ordered, That Sir Bobert Clayton, Mr. Clark, Mr. Pollen, Mr. Ryder, Sir Chr. Musgrave, Sir John Knight, be added to the Committee, to whom the Bill to enable divers Merchants Insurers, that have sustained many Losses by the present War with France, the better to satisfy their several Creditors, is committed.

Registering Fishermen for the Navy.

A Bill for compelling Fishermen to come into their Majesties Service, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Call of the House.

Ordered, That the Call of the House be adjourned until Monday Morning next, Ten a Clock: And that such Members, who have not Leave to be absent, as shall not then attend their Service in this House, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms.

New East-India Company.

The Order of the Day, for the House to resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Petition of several Merchants, and others, in and about the City of London, relating to the East-India Trade; and for erecting a new East-India Company; was read.

Resolved, That Mr. Speaker do now leave the Chair.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Papillion took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Papillion reported from the said Committee, That they had come to a Resolution; which they had directed him to report to the House, when the House would please to receive the same.

Ordered, That the said Report be made upon Friday Morning next, at Eleven a Clock.

Mr. Papillion also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the said Committee to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Friday Morning next, after the said Report is over, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Petition of several Merchants, and others, in and about the City of London, relating to the East-India Trade; and for erecting a new East-India Company.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

Conference with Lords.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Robert Legard and Mr. Holford;

Mr. Speaker,

The Lords do agree to the Conference desired by this House the Fourth Instant, presently, in the Painted Chamber.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

Ordered, That the Managers, that managed the former Conference, do manage this Conference.

And the Managers went to the Conference.

And, being returned;

Mr. Harley reported, That the Managers had, at the Conference, acquainted the Lords, That the Papers, desired by their Lordships to be transmitted, having been received, upon the humble Address of this House to his Majesty, from Mr. Bridgman, one of the Clerks of the Privy-Council, by a Schedule, That this House had ordered the said Papers to be re-delivered to the said Mr. Bridgman.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
