PRAYERS.

Registry of Deeds.

RESOLVED, That a Committee be appointed to prepare, and bring in, a Bill for Enrolling and Registering of all Conveyances of Lands.

And it is referred to Mr. Clark, Sir Robert Cotton, Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Bromley, Mr. Waller, Sir Fr. Molyneux, Sir Richard Temple, Mr. Slater, Mr. Christie, Sir Christopher Musgrave, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. Glemham, Mr. How, Sir John Dorrell, Sir Roger Puleston, Sir Henry Goodrick, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Pigot, Mr. Palmes, Mr. Smith, Mr. Roberts, Sir Rich. Hart, Sir John Key, Sir Walt. Young; or any Three of them.

Privilege.

A Complaint being made to the House, That Thomas Bawderick and Nicholas Shipley had arrested John Mason, a menial Servant of Colonel Roll, a Member of this House, in Breach of the Privilege of this House;

Ordered, That the said Tho. Bawderick and Nicholas Shipley be sent for, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for the same.

Ditto.

A Complaint being made to the House, That Joseph Osborne, Keeper and Warrener to Colonel Roll, a Member of this House, hath been arrested by John Pope, Thomas Clayton, William Osgodby, Charles Cockram, and William Dixon; and that he is now in Prison in the Castle in Lincoln, in Breach of the Privilege of this House;

Ordered, That the said Joseph Osborne be discharged out of Prison.

Ordered, That the said John Pope, Thomas Clayton, William Osgodby, Charles Cockram, and Wm. Dixon, be summoned to attend this House forthwith, to answer the said Breach of Privilege.

Frequent Parliaments.

Colonel Granville reported from the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for more frequent Elections of Parliaments was committed, That they had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout, and then a Second time one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Debt due to Seamen, &c.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the State of the Debt due to the Seamen at Michaelmas last, be referred to the Committee of the whole House, to whom it is referred to consider of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet for the Service of the Year 1694.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the Account, delivered in from the Lords of the Treasury, of what Money hath been raised upon the Million Bill, and Bill for Review of the Quarterly Poll, and how much they are deficient, be referred also to the said Committee.

Supply.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet for the Service of the Year 1694.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Tho. Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had come to two Resolutions, which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were read; and are as followeth; viz.

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That the Sum of Five hundred thousand Pounds be raised towards the discharging the Wages due to the Seamen.

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That a further Sum, not exceeding Two Millions, be granted to their Majesties, including the Ordinary, by reason of the Revenues now falling short, in full, for the Maintenance of the Fleet.

The First Resolution being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House doth agree with the Committee in the said Resolution, That the Sum of Five hundred thousand Pounds be raised towards the discharging the Wages due to the Seamen.

The Second Resolution being read a Second time;

An Amendment was proposed to be made therein, by transposing some Words therein; viz. by leaving out the Words, "including the Ordinary, by reason of the "Revenues now falling short," where they now stand, and adding them after the Word "Fleet:"

And the same was, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House doth agree with the Committee in the said Resolution so amended, That a further Sum, not exceeding Two Millions, be granted to their Majesties, in full, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, including the Ordinary, by reason of the Revenues now falling short.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House will, upon Thursday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of Ways and Means for raising the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet.

Call of the House.

Ordered, That the Call of the House be adjourned till Wednesday Morning next, Ten a Clock.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning next, Nine a Clock.
