The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act for naturalizing of Barnard Cosserat, alias Mourte, and Alexander Ringli, and others: And also,

Northleigh's Estate.

A Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Trustees to grant Leases of the Lands of Henry Northleigh Esquire, lately deceased, for Payment of Debts, and providing a Maintenance for his Children: And also,

Pierce's Estate.

A Bill, intituled, An Act for the vesting certain Lands and Tenements, the Estate of George Gilbert Pierce, of the Middle Temple, London, Esquire, in Trustees, for raising Monies, for the Payment of Debts:

To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Colonel Berkly have Leave to go into the Country for Recovery of his Health, being very ill.

Mr. Hartcliffe to preach on 30th Jan.

Ordered, That Mr. John Hartcliffe, One of the Prebends of Windsor, be desired to preach before this House upon the Thirteenth of January instant, at St. Margaret's, Westminster: And that Mr. Gerard and Mr. Hungerford do acquaint him therewith.

Hawkers and Pedlars.

A Bill for suppressing of Hawkers and Pedlars in Cities, Boroughs, and Corporations, was, according to the Order of the Day, read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

Vesting Interest in Judgments, &c.

A Bill to vest the Interest of Judgments, and other Securities assigned, in the Assignees, was read a Second time:

And the Question being put, That the Bill be committed;

It passed in the Negative.

Supply Bill; Land Tax.

Ordered, That the Committee of the whole House, to whom the Bill for granting to his Majesty an Aid of Four Shillings in the Pound, for One Year, for carrying on the War against France with Vigour, is committed, do bring in a Clause of Loan to the said Bill.

Ditto.

The House, according to the Order of the Day resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the Bill for granting to his Majesty an Aid of Four Shillings in the Pound, for One Year, for carrying on the War against France with Vigour.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had made a further Progress in the Bill; and had directed him to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Monday Morning next, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the said Bill.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
