Prayers.

Sheafe's Estate.

MR. Christy reports from the Committee to whom the Bill to enable Thomas Sheafe to sell some Lands for Payment of Debts, and making Provision for his Wife, according to an Agreement, was committed, That they had agreed to the Bill, without any Amendment.

Ordered, That the Bill be ingrossed.

Haberdashers Charity.

Mr. Fenwick reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for settling the Charity given by Robert Aske, Esquire, deceased, to the Company of Haberdashers of London, was committed, That the Committee had agreed upon an Amendment to be made in the Bill: Which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards, delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

York Buildings Water Company.

Ordered, That the Bill for the better Encouragement, and carrying on and settling the Waterworks in York Buildings, be read a Second time To-morrow Morning.

Sir Robert Cotton reports from the Committee to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for Naturalizing of Francis de la Chambre, and others, was committed, That they had agreed upon several Amendments to be made to the Bill: Which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards, delivered in at the Table: Where the same were read; and are as followeth; viz.

Line 13, after "Mastreitch," add "Godfrey Roosen," Son of Hubert Roosen and Mary his Wife, born in Emmerick, in the Dukedom of Cleve, in the Dominion of the Elector of Brandenburgh; Charles Coke, Gentleman, Son of Captain Gilbert Coke and Elizabeth his Wife, born at Zutphen in Gelderland."

Bray's Estate.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the better enabling Jane Bray, Widow, Relict and sole Executrix of the last Will of Reignald Bray, Esquire, deceased, and others, to the speedier raising of the Portions already appointed for her Daughters, by the said Reignald Bray, be read a Second time To-morrow Morning.

T. Williams' Estate.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the raising Money out of the Estate of Thomas Williams, Esquire, deceased, by letting Leases, and otherwise, for the more speedy Payment of his Debts, be read a Second time To-morrow Morning.

Debtors Escapes.

A Bill for preventing Escapes of Prisoners for Debt, and for the more effectual Relief of the Subject in Cases of Escapes, was read a Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Sir Math. Andrewes, Mr. Ryder, Sir Jonath. Jennings, Sir John Guise, Major Vincent, Sir Peter Colliton, Sir Tho. Darcy, Mr. Kenyon, Sir Sam. Preventing Robberies.

Ordered, That the Bill for the better securing the King's Highways from Robbers, and for the satisfying Persons robbed, be read a Second time To-morrow Morning.

Annulling Campbell's Marriage.

A Bill for the annulling and making void a Marriage between Mary Wharton, an Infant, and James Campbell, Esquire, was, according to Order, presented to the House; and received.

The Bill was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time Tomorrow Morning.

Supply Bills; East India Goods.

Wine Duties, &c.

Mr. Attorney General, according to Order, presented to the House Two Bills for granting to their Majesties certain new Impositions; viz. the one a Bill for granting certain new Impositions upon all East India Goods and Merchandize, and other Goods and Merchandize, to their Majesties: The other a Bill for continuing certain Impositions upon Wine, Vinegar, and Tobacco.

And the said Bill for granting certain new Impositions upon all East India Goods and Merchandize, and other Goods and Merchandize to their Majesties, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

And the said Bill for continuing certain Impositions on Wine, Vinegar, and Tobacco, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. May, of Chichester, have Leave to go into the Country for a Fortnight.

Attainting Persons in Rebellion.

A Bill for attainting several Persons in Rebellion in England and Ireland, and for confiscating their Estates, and applying the same towards the Charge of the present War, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be Committed to a Committee of the whole House, upon the Debate of the House.

Resolved, That the House do immediately resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the said Bill.

Accordingly, the House resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Solicitor General took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Solicitor General reported from the said Committee, That they had made some Progress in the Bill: And had directed him to move the House, That they might have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the said Bill.

Leave for Member to attend Lords.

Ordered, That Mr. Finch have Leave to attend the Lords, as Counsel, in a Cause between Wyvell and Huly.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
