Prayers.

Privilege.

A COMPLAINT being made to the House, That Thomas Price, Esquire, Counsel at Law, and Henry Mostyn, Attorney at Law for Peter Price, Lessor in Ejectment, had proceeded to Tryal at the last Assizes for the County of Merioneth, for the Estate of Edward Vaughan, Esquire, a Member of this House, notwithstanding they were informed of his Privilege of Parliament; and that Wm. Wyne, Rich. Greene, and Edward Price, had made out Process, and taken Possession of the said Estate; in Breach of the Privileges of this House;

Ordered, That the said Thomas Price, Henry Mostyn, Richard Green, Wm. Wyne, and Edward Price, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, to answer their said Breach of Privilege.

Wine Measures, &c.

A Bill was presented to the House for the better Preventing of Frauds in selling Wines, and other Liquors, by Retale, in false Measures.

Surgeons to administer Medicines.

A Bill to enable Surgeons to administer inward Medicines, in Cases of Surgery, was read the Second Time.

Wentworth's Estate.

Mr. Cary reports from the Committee to whom the Bill to vest some Lands of John Wentworth, Esquire, in Trustees, to be sold, and for laying out the Monies raised thereby in Purchase of other Lands more convenient for him, was committed, That they had agreed upon several Amendments to be made to the Bill: Which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and afterwards, a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, were agreed unto by the House.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Southwarke Court of Conscience.

A Bill to erect a Court of Conscience for the Borough of Southwarke, and other Places in the Weekly Bills of Mortality in the County of Surrey, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Colonel Austin, Mr. Bockland, Sir John Guise, Sir John Bancks, Mr. Hawtry, Mr. Freeman, Sir Sam. Bernadiston, Mr. England, Mr. Brewer, Sir John Cutler, Mr. Lewes, Sir James Long, Sir Orlan. Gee, Sir Robert Davers, Mr. Perry, Mr. Paul Foley, Serjeant Wogan, Mr. Brownlow, Sir Wm. Reducing Interest.

Ordered, That the Bill for Reducing of Interest of Money from Six Pounds to Four Pounds per Cent. per Annum, be read the Second time To-morrow Morning, at Ten a Clock.

Supply Bill; Land Tax.

A Bill for raising One hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Six hundred Forty-one Pounds Eighteen Shillings and Two-pence per mensem, for Twelve Months, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Monday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the said Bill.

Ordered, That the Members of this House do, upon Monday Morning next, present to the House the Names of Commissioners for the several Counties, Cities, and Places, as usual, to be inserted into the said Bill.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir John Francklyn;

Pin-making.

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act for the better encouraging the Art of Pinmaking, and keeping and setting the poor Pinmakers to work; to which they desire the Concurrence of this House:

Philips Estate.

Also a Bill, intituled, An Act for the enabling the Sale of the Manor of Kempton and Kempton Park, and other Lands, late of Francis Philips, Esquire, deceased; to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Coal Trade.

Also a Bill, intituled, An Act for reviving a former Act for regulating the Measures and Prices of Coals; to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Privilege.

A Complaint being made to this House of a Breach of Privilege committed against Sir Carbury Price, Baronet, a Member of this House, by John Knowles, John Price, Rees Vaughan, and Thomas Lewis, by entering upon the Mines of the said Sir Carbury Price;

Resolved, That the entering upon the Mines of Sir Carbury Price, a Member of this House, by John Knowles, John Price, Rees Vaughan, and Thomas Lewis, is a Breach of the Privilege of this House.

Ordered, That the said John Knowles, John Price, Rees Vaughan, and Tho. Lewis, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, to answer for their said Breach of Privilege.

Navy Accounts.

Mr. Jepson presented to the House, from the Treasury, the Accompts of the Navy to the Third of September last.

Ordered, That the said Accompts be read To-morrow Morning at Nine a Clock.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, That this House will, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.

London Orphans.

Resolved, That this House will, upon This day-sevennight at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of Ways to satisfy the Debts due to the Orphans of the City of London.
